I have posted about it several times lately.
I had one enema in particular where I was using my 5-in flex nozzle. The first round went as expected.
The second round was injecting, I had maybe a pint in, and all of a sudden my sphincter pulsed hard. Has happened before but this time water was squirting everywhere.
I closed the valve, and I noticed there was no nozzle at the end of the hose!!!!
I fist thought the nozzle had detached and was somewhere in the bedding I breached position to look for it.
Then I realized I could FEEL it!
I tried to get it out, but I could not get enough of it to really have my hand on it.
I yelled for my husband.
He cam running.
I had been taking the enema in Simms position, but I tried going to knee-chest to make it easier for him to reach. He could feel the end of it but could not get enough of it to get it out.
We started discussing what to do with the kids so I could go to the Emergency Room, which is about 20 minutes away by car.
Then, all of a sudden with no warning the 30 mg oral bisacodyl decided to do it's thing, and I had to run, and I mean RUN to the toilet!
After it did it's thing there was nothing solid left in my large intestine!
Certainly nothing as large as a 5-in enema nozzle.
I had to reach into all that poop to get it out.
First time I had poop on my hands since my son has been out of diapers.
Worked out well in the end, because it came out on it's own! I had no chance of stopping it if I had wanted to.
Saved a trip to the ER, the cost of a replacement nozzle and we didn't have to deal with the child care issue while I was at the ER!
I'm no teenager any more, any cleanse now will include some sort of oral laxative!
So, a bad enema, yes, but not the disaster it could have been.
