Silicon Nozzles Order problem...

I ordered one of the inflatables from silicone nozzles in early November. Their website sent me an "order received" form, and since I paid with PayPal, that notice was also included. The invoice they sent me also included the statement that current turnaround time was about 12-14 days. It's now mid December, and not a word. I've contacted them twice by email to see if they have any additional info--no answer. Now I have a dilemma. I can reverse the order, & get a refund through PayPal, or I can wait. Has anyone else had problems ordering from SN lately?

I have dealt with these guys for years and never had a problem. First class products and service, with shipment all the way to the UK.

@Thursdays_child, I've had the same experience with them. Still, I don't understand the reluctance to answer. Literally takes less than a moment.

In my world, customers make paydays possible and there is never an excuse not to answer a query!

I ordered an "in-stock' item this past Sunday evening and it was in the USPS system as of Monday evening for delivery this Thursday. Be advised the single balloon nozzle MAY take a bit longer if they have production issues. They do make quality products.

As others have alluded to, answering your inquiry doesn't take that much time and effort. Due to the holidays, they may be slammed with orders or fewer production personnel. That said, I do believe they will deliver your order.

I have placed several orders. The quality has always been top notch. They are a small group, so production is their focus. I did also find that a few emails from them in the past ended up in SPAM filter. So give that a check. Those were the balloon nozzle status update when I ordered one.

I also have a problem with SN.

I've ordered their new inflatable nozzle in midst of november.

Since then - absolutely nothing: there are no answers to calls, emails.

There also strange behavior on their website. They stopped publishing/updating news, but time on the front page changes almost daily (which looks like a sort of automation).

Even if they suffers serious production or stuff problems, that attitude is completely inappropriate.

So, please:

1. If you ordering something from them, be warned and share results.

2. If you have any facts of their circumstances - share it.

3. If you have any relation with SN's founders or staff, at least, provide actual public information of current status and it's changes.

@essence , I'm sorry for your problems. It's as if they disappeared. When was your most recent attempted contact with them? Mine was about a week ago. My problem is I paid up front. Not glad you are having the same problem, but at least I'm not crazy. If nothing by EOW, I will contact PayPal & ask to have them flagged. Don't know if they will, but...

Last time I've tried to call them was about 2 days ago.

I'm mostly concerned not about money, but about product and service.

It was such a promising manufacturer.

But now heavily recalls Klystra's in it last days.

Over the years, SN has been spotty for periods of time....

Hmm, interesting. 2 weeks ago, I ordered a "Ready To Ship" item from them and received it less than 1 week later. I've always received items from them within their specified delivery time, although I've not ordered one of the new inflatable nozzles.

Updating my experience...

Still no response from SN. They seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. Not sure what to do at this point, other than just wait. As of today (I ordered Nov. 3, 2019), it's been 3 months with no communication. At this point, I'm thinking I'll have to go back and order one of the "Cleanstream" devices. They are not good to use for multiple enemas, because they have "ridges" where they glue the various silicone parts together.

Groan.

Not sure if this helps, but a colon hydrotherapist I know recommended to one of her clients that she ordered a speculum enhancement nozzle from SN. She ordered back in the closing stages of 2019, not exactly sure when, and it finally arrived two weeks ago.

Makes me realise I need to treasure the SN nozzles I have!

It took about 1 month for my order.

I have ordered and safely received from SN over a number of years, but haven't done business with them since May 2018.

I recently ordered and received a "Cleanstream" item from Amazon that was defective out of the package. No returns is their policy, so beware!

Seems, there is a regularity.

Orders of simple-to-produce or in-stock items are served.

But orders of inflatables are dropped.

Klistra's last days deja-vu one more time! So sad...

I'am already waiting for rusch catheters.

But there are hell of logistics. At least for me.

This happens with Siliconenozzles from time to time, and I think there are two important takeaways, one for the customers and one for the business. Customers should remember that when this happens they do have a history of making sure you get the product. It may take a little longer, but they don't stiff their customers. Remember it wasn't long ago when pretty much everything mail order said "4-8 weeks" too.

Siliconenozzles... if any of your people are reading... just be honest about what is up. The enema line is your side business, you do it but the money that keeps "you" (as a complete company) around is in the other side of the business. Put up a 'gee, we're swamped with something else... we have a long history of getting customer's orders out, but now we're running behind and it will probably be ___ weeks longer...' or similar. It takes a bit, but it shows that you value your customers enough to let them know what is up. Remember they have trusted you with their money, a not insignificant amount for some of your products.

I have what I would consider to be a LARGE collection of SN nozzles (20+). I haven't ordered in a while (nothing new has appeared in a while) but was thinking about adding another to my collection. I think I'll wait until others get their long-overdue orders and I can feel confident that my $$$ aren't waiting a long time to get delivery.

Thanks for all your replies, and your sympathies. I will keep waiting, and if it arrives, that's great. However, in the future, I will NOT prepay thru PayPal. PayPal has a 60 day limit on complaints against the vendor. CC companies may as well, but ordinarily those don't pay on order, but on shipping. And you can call them & they will typically make it right if it's not.

Keeping some form of contact with your customers makes them feel important, that their business matters. To not keep customers informed, even with a prewritten email for delays with service, is not a good company image.

FINALLY!! I got a response from Bob Knapp of SilaDyne / Silicone Nozzles. So we shall see. He claims he's shipping now. *I had to write a 1 star review of the nozzle to get his attention.* Apparently (he said), they had a lightning strike that messed up their comm system, so it could be emails, etc. For all those that wondered, "Is he still in business?" I guess so. I'd recommend waiting to order until my next notice, which will be when my nozzle is delivered, and include details about the order's completeness, etc.

For all those who ordered the same item and didn't get it, maybe write such a review and see what happens. I just said, "I made the order, it was never delivered." I didn't mention that I had sent emails, etc., but of course I had.

So...

IF things work out, I'll let everyone know.. If not, same thing. Now waiting...

Please.. Don't post one star reviews to "get his attention". Either wait, contact the seller, or if you're that unhappy post a one star review, and cancel the order.

You're dealing with what appears to be a one person company. Sometimes shit happens. You'll get further by being nice.

Actually, @docinny45, you might read all my preceding posts. I contacted them 3 times via email, AFTER receiving order confirmation. With that confirmation was included the announcement that they were about 12-14 days out. It has been 3 full months. I paid in advance. I don't mind waiting if there is communication, but if I'm ignored, that does not work for me. I spent most of my life in business as a small businessman. And my customers would have fired me, no question, for what happened.
