A presentation on online BBS history, including when C. B. Bard was suing over the B@RD#X trademark

I found this today - it is a talk given at a cyber security conference. The presenter runs websites that archive computer history, including the content of old BBS systems from years ago. He archived a lot of stories from BBS systems, and one mentioned the venerable balloon catheter with the popular trademark for a name.. Hopefully some of you will find this interesting.

Doc, very interesting and eye-opening. Now we have a better understanding about the rule against using a company name when we refer to a certain double balloon nozzle.

Sounds like a bunch of legal crap. Maybe we could sue that company and get rich?

Better stop using Cocoa-Cola, Dodge, Rolex and Generous Electric. These are company names which, if Bard is used as a precedence, could put a big dent in free speech. Possibly you can come up with a few more!
