The last time I had a foley in, it was for about 18 hours. It was placed just before going to sleep. As I was trying to fall asleep, I could feel myself becoming erect, and as a result my urethra would "climb" up the catheter. Then as I would become flaccid it would slide back down. This repeated throughout the night. I am a "grower" so my length basically doubles during erections. Initially it felt good, but as the night went on, the lube had dried up, and it started to become a little irritating. By the next day, the tip of my urethra was gripping the dry catheter and during erections would slightly invert the tip of my penis a couple milimeters during these erections. What do you guys do to prevent this irritation? Adding lube to the tip seems like the obvious solution, but I am afraid that the climbing and retracting of the urethra over the catheter would a good way to increase the likleyhood of getting an infection. Also, frequent relubercation would not always be a pratical option, especially when dressed. Your ideas would be greatly appriciated.Thank you.
