Age of First Vibrator

My husband got me my first one when we were visiting Miami and happened to go to an adult store there. I was 26 at that time. It was a massager with different attachments (looked like a small blow dryer). I remember being very embarrassed when the guy at the store was showing different models to me.

It was electric, not battery operated, and very powerful. I was scared to use it myself, so only my husband ever used it on me. It was many years later that I got a battery operated one.

My sister, Amy, who was a little more adverious than myself bought one at 16. She ordered it from a mail order catalog. She actually rented a post office box and had it shipped there. She is two years older than me and she used it on me; however, before that she was using a muscle massager.

Thanks to the internet my sister and I bought our first vibrators when I was early in my teens, and my sister a few years older. It was after we discovered how nice our grandfathers heat/vibrate massager designed for backs and shoulders that he used to massage his legs (circulation issues) if you put it in the right place. The model we purchased were a non-penetrative 'lipstick looking' type and speaking for myself, it felt nice.

The novelty wore off for me quite quickly as I preferred using my hands. The vibrator was just too overstimulating after a little while, and I always enjoy taking my time. After we had them for a few months, I purchased another one that had multiple settings that wasn't so intense.

A word of warning... My sister still finds it hard to cum without using a vibrator to this day.

I purchased my first lot sex toys that included some vibrators in the early to mid 2000's. I was 50 years old and just divorced. The ones I purchased were long so that I could secure it (using rubberbands or large cock rings) to the underside of my penis, between my balls and the tip touching my anus. The vibrations when sitting down was quite intense.

I’ve posted before about how I was raised in a very religious family, where I was taught that touching or “playing down there” was a sin. Because of that, I never masturbated or experimented with toys when I was younger.

That doesn’t mean I was sexually inexperienced, I started having sex at 17 and definitely had plenty of sex between 17 and 23. I just never explored that part of myself on my own.

It wasn’t until after I got married, when I was 23, that my husband bought me my first vibrator and dildo. Now I have a few of each that we play with.

Which toy is you favorite to play with?

36 years, only few months ago. Now seems weird even for me (considering 3.5 years in chastity), but I've never paid my attention specifically to anything vibrating
