Someone DID ask, so I might as well state right here on the forum:
I DO still keep a couple of jugs of water with bars of ivory soap floating in them
It's one bar, one jug, but always a few days before it's ready. If the enema is advance planned, which it usually is, it gets shaken the night before the enema and the morning again a few minutes before it goes in the bag. The more soapy the water the better!!!
Any Epsom Salt, Table salt or glycerin or anything else is added then.
Since that water is cold, what I do is fill the bag halfway with it, then fill it the rest of the way with tap water, as hot as I can make it. When the two are mixed I get comfortably warm water. I always attach the hose in the bathroom and set the bag on the dresser while I'm prepping the bed, That means laying on it's side. I then hang it so that it's hanging while I'm taking a pee. That's when I attach the nozzle, and get into position.
That way 10 minutes or so later, when I DO finally open the valve the hot tap water and the cold soapy water have mixed and I have a warm but not hot enema right for injection and 15 minute retention.
Only time it's ever an issue is those few occasions where I either didn't prep well or did something wrong, and needed more than 5 rounds to get to a clear return. Rare now because I usually take anywhere from 20-30 mg oral bisacodyl about two hours before injection. Usually I can get it to kick in between the third and fourth rounds, making more than 5 rounds unnecessary
