What is that device?

While browsing tumblr, I came across this post: https://enemafr68.tumblr.com/post/155020979873 - does anyone know what is the nozzle on the first two images? I don't think I have ever seen anything like that.

Hhhhmmm... I started to type a semi-answer... and then as I was typing I think I got it! It is a home made double balloon retention nozzle - a “B” type.

The blue is a flexy cuff nozzle, with the tiny tube connected to the blow up packet on the right. That cuff is already inside her rectum. Then, whoever made it, put ANOTHER inflatable cuff higher on the blue nozzle to act as the outside balloon, with the larger inflator tube. It looks like they used the same blow up packet for both cuffs, hence the cut off clips on the inflation tubes.

I suppose it could have been bought this way, but given the different size inflator tubes, it looks home made. Interesting idea, but not sure where they got that standalone outside cuff from, unless they carefully cannibalized another nozzle for it. Nice idea though!

However, I'm certain I know what this device is. It's a barium nozzle with an inner and outer cuff. The inner cuff is expanded by air from the blow-up packet. The outer cuff is expanded by the water from the enema bag ...... it gets fed directly from a hole in the nozzle that goes to the outer cuff.

The problem is that when you get a cramp and water pressure goes up significantly, the outer cuff can expand ...... eventually to the point of bursting.

I got a few of these several decades ago from Roxbury Press. They just didn't hold up. I haven't seen these anywhere in years ....... for obvious reasons that they could fail and make a mess.
