I've been wearing diapers 24/7 for 30+ years, due to incontinence. I won't go into the reasons for it, but I wear both ABU Super Dry Kids and Bambino Quadro stuffer pads (for increased absorbency) when wearing cloth diapers and plastic pants isn't appropriate. I prefer cloth for comfort and for the capability to adjust absorbency as needed.
There are occasions I'd prefer not to be diapered, but that's not possible in my situation, as wet pants and furniture aren't very socially acceptable. However, most of the time I'm perfectly comfortable and happy to be diapered!
I don't specifically try to hide my "underwear" but neither do I flaunt the fact that I'm diapered. Equally, before I became incontinent I didn't flaunt my undershorts, either, as I was taught that wasn't acceptable behavior.
There are times and circumstances, such as at work, when it's easier to tell others that I'm diapered and incontinent. As I'm the only worker in my department on my shift, any diapers in the trash obviously came from me. Rather than have folks wonder why I'm wearing them, I find it easier to mention my incontinence, answer any questions that may arise, and be done with it. I've yet to have ANY negative comments from "telling" on myself. Of course, family and close friends also know about my state.
