@moliere, I agree that a Model B inserted too fast is unlikely to cause damage to a healthy person. I've got the firmest one, 12 Mildly Firm, which would be the most potentially dangerous silicone grade.
I'm a lot more careful now with my own insertions after two frightening experiences. Two times I had my Model B inserted about halfway when it hit a point of resistance and I impatiently continued to push against it instead of backing off as I knew I should do. As I unwisely continued to push against the resistance, I felt a sudden popping sensation inside me and I thought I heard an audible pop. At the same instant, I felt the insertion resistance suddenly drop to near zero as my Model B plunged the rest of the way in. The sensation was painless, slightly uncomfortable, and totally terrifying. I though for a minute that I had punctured or badly torn up something inside me. Both times that I did this to myself, I immediately pulled my Model B out to examine it and and examine myself for blood. I was relieved that I found none. After a minute on both occasions, I decided to try the insertion again to reassure myself that I was OK. I was easily able to do multiple insertions after both incidents. Soon these insertions started giving me that intense, orgasm inducing pleasure that we Model B fans know and love, and I knew I would be fine. These experiences lead me to believe that the Model B is pretty safe even when misused.
@Debgurl, my scary popping sensation experiences tell me you are exactly right about your hubby or any partner inserting a Model B for you. You wouldn't want let anyone do that without instructions before and during the process. The person being inserted has to be in control.
@Debgurl, you and your hubby are both so lucky now that you both enjoy doing Model B insertions for each other. 😄 I'm happy for both of you, but also envious. I so wish that Pam and I could do that together. I know she would insert my Model B for me if I begged her to, but she would never want to try it herself, and she thinks I'm crazy to want to play with long anal toys at all. I think I'll have to be content with her inserting me with butt plugs, 8-inch dildos, and more conventional nozzles.
Here's a question. If someone who has never experienced a Model B insertion before (or another beyond the rectum insertion) and wants to have that experience, is it better to learn solo, or have the help of an experienced partner doing the insertion for you? I'm not sure.
I'm also not sure exactly what caused my frightening popping sensations when using my Model B, but I have a theory. I think my Model B's skinny tip on top of its upper bulb got caught on some structure inside me. As I continued to push when I should have backed off, the structure bent the tip sideways as the bulb pushed past the structure. This possibly bent or stretched the structure too. When I pushed my Model B deep enough, the tip cleared the structure and it (and possibly the structure too) suddenly popped back into original position(s). Whatever happened, I know I don't want to do it again.
