NPT or NPSH?
NPT is tapered and will seal without a washer
NPSH is straight and requires a washer
Both will be about 6 or 7 turns to hand thght
As opposed to about 2-3 turns on most enema nozzles
Depending on whether it is a standard thread or not,
None of my enemas use standard thread, they do this to keep you from connecting directly to the high pressure water line.
Enema nozzles are generally a much coarser thread than standard plumbing fittings.
This IS deliberate so that the pressure of a city water line will blow it off
One of the reasons My Mom and my Dad did not share equipment, even after the relationship went sexual was that they had built their collections around 2 different brands, Mom around Davol Dad around Faultless, and the threads on the nozzles were not compatible
This is another reason why in modern times barbed fittings are so much more widely used.
