My impression was : it doesn't matter which arguments I had, my pediatrician always turned it to the fact to measure in my bum.
- When I said, I don't feel feverishly, he wanted to improve this.
- When I said, I had a fever of whatever degrees, because it was measured at home, then he asked where the thermometer was put
- - Did I say nothing, he did not believe me and wanted to improve.
- - Did I say, under my armpit, he answered that measuring has to be repeated in an accurate way
- - Did I say, I got the thermometer in my bum a few hours ago, he said, that he now needs to compare with a new temperature measurement.
When I mentioned, that I got a suppository already, he wants to check the effectiveness.
Sometimes he didn't care when his nurse measured my temperature a few minutes ago, because he didn't know, or he was not told, or he didn't find the sheet of paper with my temperature value and so on.
However, he pushed his long thermometer in my bum nearly all times, pulled up my shorts again, as I already wrote in other topics.
And at home, when I was sick or I looked like that or my parents had the suspicion, rectal temperature was quite standard for finding out more.
