I don't really have a set time.
Essentially, I take the oral Bisacodyl about 2 hours before starting the enema.
I set up the bed, mix the enema, let the bag set for a few moments to dissolve the Epsom Salt, then take a pee and hang the enema
A pre-enema, if it is a bisacodyl suppository, it is taken 10 minutes before getting into position
If it's a bisacodyl mini-enema it is taken right after getting into position.
A minute or two to get the position fully right.
The pre-enema is in about 10-15 minutes before the main enema
I know I shouldn't, but I usually look at the nozzle for a moment before doing the insertion.
Then I take a minute or two to relax. then make sure the nozzle IS all the way in, and pointed at my navel.
Once I open the valve. It takes about one minute per quart to get in
Then I retain 15 minutes.
Expulsion takes around 20 minutes, give or take.
Then, how long I wait for the next round depends entirely on how I feel. When I feel like I can take the next enema I do.
That can be as little as 15 minutes or over an houreither
I AVERAGE over the session, about 1 enema per hour, but IT IS NOT SET IN STONE! It is not a race or a contest. It all comes down to how I feel and what's effective.
I take a minimum of 3 enemas. More if the 3rd one does not return clear. I take as many as I need to get to that clear return.
A TYPICAL session if there is such a thing is between 6 and 7 hours from the insertion of the first round
DONT BE OBSESSED WITH TIME!
Give yourself enough time but you don't need all day/night
