I bought the Aneros toy and the toy was painful on anal insertion. I tried water based lube for the Fleshlight and it was not thick enough. Even if I followed with KY it was not helpful. I actually threw the Aneros away and want to buy the Beginner's kit from Lovehoney. Any advice?

I have this same one. I find it slightly more difficult to take than a conical plug because it starts out large-ish and then reduces in diameter.

The problem I find is really just me and how quickly I try to insert it. On a conical plug, you can start inserting it right away, and gradually work your way up to the thickest part. If it starts to hurt, all you have to do is slow down and give your body time to compensate.

The Aneros Helix doesn't give you that option. You start with the largest part, and there's no real way to ease into it. You have to be ready to take the max diameter right off the bat. If you're impatient like me, you probably won't be ready for the whole thing right away, force it, and thus feel pain.

This can be solved by either warming up with another toy, or just forcing yourself to take it slowly. I've found that, once it's in comfortably, it's a great toy; I just have to be relaxed and in the right frame of mind to take advantage of it.

I don't have any problem with the insertion of my Aneros product but have noticed after a certain period of time some discomfort from it. There is no issue with the inserted portion of the device and absolutely love the feeling of fullness it provides and the sensations on the prostate when it is inserted. My issue is with the two external wings. As my anus begins contracting to causing the thrusting motion of the device, I feel that the external wings begin "digging" into the anal sphincter ring after a period of time causing discomfort and forcing removal of the device earlier than I would like.

Love my Squarepeg Depth Probes and my Bad Dragon Dildos or my inflatable butt plug and large butt plugs. Depends what you are trying to accomplish. Depth, width/girth and/or possible gaping or a combination of both.

Have had the XXL Slink for a year or so but still can't get the last 6" in. The length and its flexibility make it hard to handle by yourself but once it is in about half way it is fine. The quality of this toy is excellent.

Actually a friend gave it to me and as yet it seems that he was over confidant in how much I can take. None the less I will keep working at taking the whole Slink until I succeed.

No problem with any Aneros toys being inserted as they are actually fairly small! You must have your sphincter squeezed shut if you are experiencing trouble.

Evidently you were not relaxed as almost all of the Aneros line is small and easily inserted with lubrication. If you are tensed, you will not be able to insert anything, regardless of size!

There are plenty of small toys that feel fine. Stay in your comfort zone. There is no reason to feel pressured to go out of it.

If you feel that a small toy is your thing that is great. Use lots of lube and enjoy yourself.
