So many. ER, Medical center, Grey's Antomy, Strong Medicine. Marcus Welby. Might even throw in Emergency and MASH. Each one had something cool in it. I wondered at times about medicine on the 1950's Mash.My own personal times in the 1970's. Marcus Welby was a cool doctor. So down to earth. Emergency on so many levels. Medically and personally. So many plot lines, yet to real as a hospital setting. Just no blood always made me smile.ER I would say best medical drama ever. I bet I start world war 3 with that comment. Enjoyable topic.
Always liked MASH, listening for that occasional enema mention, and loved the fountain that Margaret had them make in the one episode, from bed pans and enema cans
St. Elsewhere was great. I think I got more into rescue show, though, like Emergency! and Rescue 9-1-1. At least as far as scripted stuff. As far as real life stuff, ABC had a docuseries that was actually about a children's hospital, but it was still quite engaging. ICU: Arkansas Children's I think the name of it was. Also, I think it was Discovery or a related channel that had a documentary on cystic fibrosis from a hospital in DC.
So many have been mentioned, but way back Dr. Kildare was a favorite of our family. I see @bbw4doc and @poorly_patient also mentioned this one. Shows our age! My sisters would have had sex with him if they had the chance!
Doogie howser was one of my favorites as a kid. As an adult rewatching on Hulu, I am confused why my parents let me watch it. Lots of pretty adult things happening on that show.
Ben Casey. Vince Edwards was great scowling all over the place.Emergency! had Julie London and her husband Bobby Troup. Julie was a fabulous singer and Troup wrote the song "Route 66."
I was always a fan of MASH and St. Elsewhere - lots of OR scenes! Trapper John, MD, too.Emergency was responsible for lots of my career choices...
Like many here my top three are: ER, ER, and ER. Great stories, great characters, great cinematography.
Ben Casey. Vince Edwards was great scowling all over the place. And for a while, Ben Casey shirts were the rage for women.

There was a MASH episode called, I think, “Point of View”, which was filmed from the first person and featured the head nurse (Margaret?) helping anesthetize the protagonist. I really liked it, and at the time was too young to really realize why.
I didn't watched any other doctor tv shows except House MD.And I did watched it because of House sarcasm……Hugh Laurie is a great actor.Za
Scrubs: I really liked it, but mostly because of the stories and the comedy. The medical part was, how should I put it, not that big in this showHouse MD: This one's nice as well. I like how they show medicine as a detective's work and not just simple broken legs etc. … Also, House is hillarious. One, which wasn't mentioned in this thread so far:The Knick: A medical history drama taking place at the turn of the century, depicting life and technological (and medical) progress in a way it is as thrilling to watch as it must have been to be alive at that time (in New York). Really nice acting, but only two seasons.
