In another thread, a comment by Sallyxx, about refinining her technique to make her enemas more pleasurable, made me wonder what others do to make their enemas more pleasant, more effective, more erotic?

I am all about pleasurable enemas. So here are some of the things I do make my enema sessions start out as soothing, relaxing and then builds to being highly erotic and finally orgasmic.

I always use warm water which helps to reduce or eliminate cramping. I also find the warm water relaxes and helps to open up my anus.

I use colon tubes and will always try to insert them to their full length but on some occasions they only make it to my sigmoid bend and go no further. I don't push rather I just try to concentrate on the all the filling and expulsion sensations. Main point is to relax and really take in all the sensations you are feeling without getting frustrated if you can't achieve deep penetration.

As I clean and clear my colon, I feel I am ready to try my wider colon tubes. I have Silicon Nozzle colon tube that is 3/4 inches wide. My ass is now very relaxed and I can easily take this tube and the sensations are amazing. Penetration depth varies, but once again I only go as far a my body allows me. To me (and i'm gay!!) MissStres nails this (so to speak), getting at the essence. i'm not one to self administer and enema for sex or pleasure, it's a function i perform to clean out for a Top. It depends on what you call a "successful" enema.

There are definitely reasons to take enemas for only pleasure OR pain.

If you subscribe to the health benefits you may be willing to accept a lot of pain with high volume enemas. BDSM is another scenario where pain might be the only goal.

If you like the feeling of pressure in your abdomen while you masturbate, pleasure is likely your only goal.

@LisaK Why are so many of your statements ‘absolutes’? At the risk of stating an absolute myself, saying things like that is ALWAYS WRONG! NO, enemas don’t have to have both pleasure and pain. Many people can have only pleasurable enemas, and many people can have only painful enemas. And depending on the purpose, either of those could be completely ‘successful.’

How can you tell anyone they are taking an enema for the wrong reason if their goal is strictly sexual pleasure? That’s what I do with myself and giving to partners, and most times, there is no pain. According to you, I’ve been doing it wrong all these years??

While I am still considered a newbie to the enema world ( at least by zity members 😉 ) have only been given erotic enemas from a partner and ZERO pain has ever been involved ! Ha, yeah, i think this is a good point that it can depend on purpose. As mentioned earlier, almost all of my (frequent) enemas are strictly utilitarian. i'm a gay guy and a bottom, these days the "purpose" of enemas is to clean out (unlike when i was a kid when it was definitely sexual).
