Do you hide your kinks / fetishes?

To an extent, I probably hide some of mine in plain sight. Part of the satisfaction in becoming more forthcoming about some topics, is the ability to carry on some intelligent conversation with others. We communicate on sites such as this, but personal interaction is far better than anonymity in many cases. My attendance at EFEST events was very enlightening. While I wasn't previously known to other attendees, the face to face interaction was wonderful. I'm sure I blushed more than once, but I became more comfortable with myself over time.

Discretion is necessary in many personal and professional relationships. For that reason, I'm pretty cautious when discussing some topics in many circumstances. That doesn't mean that one can't openly discuss those treatments, procedures, and events that might fuel our ongoing fetishistic desires.

While explicit details of my own preferences may be held close to the vest, I've enjoyed many interactions concerning enemas and other medical procedures.

I told 2 old gf's I took enemas. One wouldn't let me give her one even after I bought her a bag, but she did use it. The other let me give her one and she had a GREAT orgasm from it along with some vaginal stimulation. 😜

I avoid even hinting at it.

I keep my interests in medical play pretty private because a lot of the people that me and my hubby know in our community are doctors and such and work at our local hospital

Some of the doctors and other medical professionals in our community know me and my hubby from our local YMCA where we work out

The only people who know about my interests are my hubby and my online friends here on this forum and on fetlife

This thread received a lot of replies 11 years ago. (There was also one about the free prostate exam clinics.) I don't hide my medical exam fetish with posters on here: presumably we share it. Decades ago, before the Internet, perhaps through personal ads (?) I found a group of play doctors, and patients in NYC. Later, I found someone, like myself, who would pay for physical exams from doctors about whom we had heard something. He would say.... He would do.... Doctors whose quirks came out. He would call me about an exam that he had just had. Keep in mind that NYC, unlike other parts of the country, have an excess of doctors. It also had/has many gay doctors. As a writer, I would record my exams, exams which I had read of others. I wouldn't go into the fetish without a reason, someone whom I was dating. I have shared the insight that what drives this is my having been sexually assaulted. Being under control of an authority figure, in this case a doctor, revisits it, safely. It might be of interest to those who weren't on here that long ago.

Yes. My kinks my fetishes are very personal. No one I know would come close to understanding or appreciate them.

I’m a very private person and I’m a teacher and should any of this come to light it would be a disaster.

Having said that it does not prevent me from enjoying them solo, online or on the rare occasion in person where identities were guarded successfully.

I’m primarily drawn to submissive females, though at times I like to switch.

I have no problem with discussing real, personal medical subjects with family members. For as long as I've had this fetish, I have never disclosed it to anyone. I can share many things with my wife but with this subject she would be turned off by it. She is very vanilla and would have trouble comprehending such things. I did try to work it in a conversation with a woman I was dating many years ago. She dismissed what I said and ghosted me.

My gf knows as I include her and she is part of it but I would never mention this to anyone else as its quite niche and they would just not get it.

11+ years ago, I posted a somewhat long post, because I had a lot to say about at the time. At the time, i was just discovering websites like these, where I could finally share with like minded people fetishes that I kept hidden from the rest of the world. To have given emphasis to do my best to not allow anyone to see me wearing a jockstrap for 35 years, is a prime example of hiding my main kinks and fetishes.

Over time, I have come to share kinks with online folks who seem like minded. While at the same time, trying to be careful to not offend or turn off anyone who is not into them. However, during the process of opening up, I will occasionally find someone who may relate and actually share in unique fetishes I have. And over time during the past 11 years, I have been fortunate to have had fetish related experiences with others.

With more to come.

As well as continued correspondence with a few folks I have grown close to in sharing our common fetishes.

I have tried to keep it a secret but my soon to be wife found about my kink before we even got married. I don't know why but the few times I got to go in with my wife for her exams I was wound up tighter than a mickey mouse watch. I worked at a County agency when we were going together and as an employee I was allowed a medical exam for her and I shortly before we got married. I told her about it and she said cool and they scheduled them the same day different doctors, different rooms. I was first and it was a quick strip to my shorts and a quick genital exam and STD culture. I was leaking and stiff, and told the doc I'm sorry it won't behave and he said it's better for me to do the swab this way. I apologized again after he was done and he looked me in the eye and said if he had his pretty future bride with him and I was the doctor he would have the same problem. It's normal so be happy and take care of your tool.

Then it was sweeties turn. Hers was a lot more involved and her doctor, an older woman in her 50's wanted to be sure I was wanted in there during the exam. After a positive answer the doctor proceeded and was very through. She said since you are here let me show you a few things... After it was over we wanted to just go do it in the car in the parking lot. The next time she had an appointment she asked me to go in with her. She knew. After I would go get my DOT done she would grill me and ask if I got hard or leaky and a few times she would tease me before my appointment by getting in the shower with me be for I went in. That’s when we began doing out own exams. We always wanted a doctor to examine us together after that first exam but never got to. As far as telling others I have been pretty tight lipped. Except here. Its a lot like a 12 step program. Hi my name is NoName and I’m addicted to medical kink...

From regular people that I barely know, they don't have a clue.

But for all my close friends they all know and they all will send me doctor jokes or selfies at the doctors office.

One even joked to send me a speculum covered in rhinestones another was a nurse at woman's health clinic and asked if she should put some of the speculums that come individually wrapped in her bag to give me because she hated her job.

A couple of my friends are the gold digger type and if they aren't with anyone serious they'll say something like If you pay my copay i'll pay you back 😉 and i'll get a selfie of them in an exam gown.

@RobbyK That is a sweet deal ! I need to think about whom I can make a similar offer to.

The nurse seems interested enough to want to feed your kink. That gives you a lot of potential. If she hates her job, she may be open to doing things that might put her job at a slight risk, especially if she's guided to the path of an alternate career.

@JTMac the nurse ended up quitting after she made that offer but I have other friends in the field I always joke with them and ask if they'll let me buy a box of the individually wrapped ones since amazon wont let you buy them without a license. Unfortunately the nurse ended up in a different type of clinic with no speculums needed. The other nurse friend is in the ICU unit and my other friend in the industry is a pediatrician so all she can get is a Pederson Vaginal Speculum.

I don't discuss unless someone is into that or on here. That is a private side of me

I used to but I have been in for constipation issues. But I went into an er in the hospital cause I was constipated they asked if I have a problem with constipation and when I said yesthis time I said I take enemas. The doctor said that was OK to take a fleet enema. But I said I use a bag, and she kind of laughed and her eyes got big . Was into my regular doctor asked if I had problems with constipation what do I do and I just told her I take enemas. I think if anybody asks for some reason what I do when Im constipated I'll just say take an enema. Who knows maybe she will offer to give me one. A guy can dream can't he.

Does everyone here pretend to be normal about doctors and physicals and exams etc? Id be mortified to admit to anyone that I have a Dr appointment. I can't even say any words related to all this. How do you react when someone casually tells you about their physical or their doctors appointment. Do you show any reaction? Do you act like it's no big deal or do you avoid it? I try to be as normal as possible.

Depends on who I'm talking to or listening to. Normal run of the mill stuff doesn't bother me, like my or others physicals and concerns. I don't share much if there's something serious except with family and friends - although I've posted here in the past. Don't mind hearing about others problems, unless they're whining. So it's relative, but in general it's not an issue.

Yes certain words are a trigger which is do my best to not show a reaction to... though my tummy tightens at the words "doctor", "physical exam", even "appointment". If I hear it at work or in public I admit that I try to listen in, just to know what the person is going to encounter. I don't tell many people when I'm going in for something medical, just a friend or two. The memories from childhood remain with me.
