Advice on giving to an enema virgin

I recently told my wife that I am taking enemas. I approached as a health and wellness practice. She was very understanding as she knows I've always had difficulty going. I know her curiosity will lead to questions, at which time I'll elaborate more on the erotic aspects that I enjoy.

Right now I have no reason to believe that i wouldn't be able to convince she needs to experience the benefit of a thorough cleansing.

My questions are about how to make sure that the experience is not unpleasant in any way. Her only previous experience was an enema administered during pregnancy 30 years ago. She may have had a few bulbs or fleets, but did not mention them in our conversation.

I'm already aware of the basics like making her comfortable, going slow and in moderation, explaining what we'll be doing throughout the process and what to expect, etc.

My questions are more specific. What are good volumes for her first clean out and subsequent rinses?

How can I judge the rate of flow, or if I need to slow or stop the flow to let her catch up?

Is it possible to go too slow and kill the thrill?

I have a new friend that is willing to try enemas, and I don't need any unexpected problems. A while ago, I met a lady who had never been given an enema. She took a slow 2 quarts, on her back, with no problems. That part went well. When I sent her to the bathroom, she must have wiped after every squirt, because the toilet was well plugged when she flushed. I had to call the hotel maintenance guy at 2am! What a mess! Just remember that you can't make someone like enemas. You can introduce someone to them who has never considered them and/or never tried them. I think Switchablesusie's comments are particularly useful. I'd add that you should consider receiving first. Let her give to you. Let her see how much you enjoy them and how much they turn you on. It will be a lot easier for her to try it if she has seen your enjoyment. As the OP of this thread, I thought I'd post an update - yes - more than a year later (wow). Anyone who follows my posts already knows that my wife libido and enjoyment of sex has taken a dramatic turn for the positive!
