Anal piercings.

Hello all,

More and more lately,I'm reading about piercings into or very close to the anal sphincter.I am trying to understand the process for keeping the area clean for the week or so needed for the wound to crust and begin to reject e-coli etc in the area.

I imagine the digestive system would need to be completely empty,involving a fast of a few days,then many enemas to completely clean out,but how does the lucky recipient feed for the next week or two or three or more?

Can sufficient nourishment be had from a completely liquid diet for the weeks that would be necessary?I should think that a completely liquid diet would mean no solids would be passed,so that cleanup could be done with water spray?

I find this a particularly intriguing problem,because I've seen quite a few pictures of these piercings in the recent past.

Anybody else given this much thought,I wonder?

Anal piercings are such a bad idea from a hygiene standpoint I can't understand why anyone would want one.

You can certainly get more than enough nutrients by a liquid diet to be fine while it heals. A liquid diet DEFINITELY DOES NOT mean that there will be no solid feces.

Switchablesusie,that is what I thought(about the solid faeces,and the nutrients),I'm not about to have any anal piercings.The thing that piqued my curiosity is that this stuff is obviously done,and I can only wonder how it's done?

You mention on another thread that you already have a guiche piercing. I would speculate that an anal piercing would not be much different in terms of maintenance. The thing is, though, I can't imagine that an anal piercing would be worth the risk of infection. I don't see how it could bring more pleasure than something as simple as a nice butt plug. Anyway, where did you happen to see

Yes,the guiche is similarly placed,but mine is further from the anus than the one to which your link leads(a very pretty little cunt and anus it shows,too!)There is another one I've seen on females where the piercing is actually through the skin at the back of the vagina,but I can't remember what it's called.

The pictures I've seen are on fetlife and some on xhamster,but my computer skills are not sufficient to provide links.If it will help I have a friend on fetlife who has the most enchanting set of anal/genital piercings(and nipples,nose etc)whose name is cat-maybe you can find her from that?

I wholly agree on the risk of infection,but there is obviously some way that these people are doing this without infection?

Do not even consider piercing into the anus. Placing piercings fairly close to the anus is risky enough, but to do one that penetrates the anal sphincter is just plain stupid.

To be fair, if they ASKED you to do this... a sub is free to make up their own mind and not do it. If it was DEMANDED of you... then run.

Two thoughts on this....first, if you cared for your sub, you would not have her/him do this....second....like so many stupid things that look cool in the moment, the long look of time passing will show what an ass you were

I have seen very few, maybe two, and I see a LOT of assholes. My concern would be a small fistula if one end of the piercing was inside the sphincter and the other outside. If the bar had a larger diameter and removed it, you might leak something you would not want to. So many other ways to tantalize or adorn my lush bottom! I'll pass.

I would never consider one of these - or any other form of piercing.

In trying to understand those who get an anal piercing, what's the motivation?

Stimulation for the wearer during penetrative sex? Perhaps for some, but the photos in the link don't reveal that all of them are proximate enough.

Stimulation for your penetrating partner? Maybe, especially for the "inside" ones - which are also the most potentially problematic, even with rivers of lube.

Passive stimulation while wearing? Maybe. If you're a horseback or bike rider (YIKES!), gym rat (spinning, weight lifting), or even play racket sports ("what's that clicking noise?") I think there would be trade-offs, at best.

Mental stimulation? Probably/certainly. But they're certainly NOT ornamental to be seen when out in public unless you're a nudist and an exhibitionist.

Depending on the number, gauge and retaining ball size, would these trigger an airport security scanner? Especially the newer ones? I'm sure THAT would be an interesting pat down and "show and tell" with TSA!

Au Natural in all respects for me. I am not into piercing at all including pierced ears. I do not wear earrings often, but use clip on type when I do. Same would go for any tattoos as well.. My husband would be really distraught if I were to change my mind on this as he loves Au Natural as well. I would never consider body enhancements either through surgery of any type unless there was a disfigurement that could be corrected.

We both think the body that we were born with is plenty beautiful enough. Same standards apply for my husband as well as we totally agree on this. I am not being judgmental but sometimes wonder if in later life, some people may regret these types of things that may not be reversible or could be dangerous.
