Play Exam Styles

While there are many variations in play exams, I see two basic styles; realistic and fantasy.

I prefer a realistic exam, where the examiner sticks basically to real medical protocol. Timing, body exposure are not realistic but most everything else is at least based on reality.

The other style is more fantastic. It might include restraint, pain and other non-medical techniques up to and including sex.

What's your preference? Please feel free to expound on your preference or style.

I like mine to be realistic fantasy. Meaning any tests or procedures I would undergo would be real ones, but would not necessarily be performed for the reasons needed in the online exam. For example, I might roleplay going to a doctor who is very "preventative." I have never had my tonsils or appendix removed. Typically, those aren't taken out unless they cause problems but because my online doctor thinks it's better to prevent something from ever causing problems, I have to submit to having those surgeries anyway.

I wouldn't consider being tied up or spanked to be very realistic during an exam since that wouldn't occur any more than a stethoscope on the genitals.

Surely it's up to the individual. Each to their own.

Personally, I prefer realistic with a little bit of fantastic mixed in. But maintaining a professional manner is a must :-)

I have no experience in playing exams but think that I'd prefer a less realistic one.

For me there has to be a difference between a play and when I am at an actual medical exam

My ideal play exam is realistic, with a little bit of fantasy. I like the 'professionalism' of a doctor and 'clinical' setting. But I also like being completely nude the entire time, extra attention paid to my breasts, my nipples being carefully examined, etc. One of my favourite play docs always examines my clitoris but he has to 'stimulate [my] clitoris in order for it to be erect so [he] can examine it properly.' He inappropriately touches my clit but never brings me to orgasm.

Play docs who want to make me orgasm, have sex with me or do anything that is overtly sexual (ie suck on my nipples) are actually a huge turn off.

I have had different style exams depending upon the play Doc and our relationship. Some of the exams have been more formal in style and the play Doctor never undressed. Some of my exams have started off formal and clinical and then ended in having sex with the play Doc. All of the exams have included me reaching climax, usually multi-times. I am not against adding "out of normal medical twists" to a play exam, such as nipple sucking, nipple clamps, vibes and dildos, because I can think of a "medical" reason for all of them. Heck, the play Doc might need to cure my hysteria 😃.

Has anybody had an exam with the infamous "Play Doctor" ? What was that like? From what I've seen in the "Play Doctor" productions and writings, it looks like he was sort of the master of the game?

Classic medfetishists always want realistic exams. There is some gray area when it comes to rectal thermometry or enemas as they are not typical of modern day exams but I still think they sufficiently fall under realistic and should be a part. Things that don't belong are kissing of any sort or any part of the body, examiner exposing him or her self, unprofessional talk of non medical related stuff (except for small talk), suggestive "bang me now" looks or talks between doctor and patient, and no oral sex or any sex for that matter during the play. Of course the doctor is free to check her stimulative response with instruments or skilled digits if you know what I mean.

Yes, Playdoc was a classic. He is one of the best mainstream examples of the perfect classical medfet.

First of all, NotForMe, yes, as I have mentioned multiple times now, I have had several encounters with PlayDoctor, and each one of course resulting in playtime. Also as I have mentioned several times I credit PlayDoctor with giving me the strength, the courage, and the knowledge I needed all those years ago when I was just a very scared little Amish girl who didn't understand that what my feelings were concerning medical things didn't make me sick, crazy or abnormal. I have never done enemas, catheters, ... in my games, i like it more to make normal exams without pain.

I read a wide variety of what a female patient wants in terms of realism. I know communication is very important in any sort of fetish play so that the experience is the best it can be for both, but where do you draw the line between prior approval of what the Dr will do and therefore knowing what he will do.. vs the mystery and uncertainty of what will happen? After all arent you submitting to the Dr's authority and therefore part of the fun is having to undergo some sort of unexpected examination?

I would say the most realistic the better. if an exam room is unavailable, a table would certainly be better than a bed

For online the more feed back from each player and questions being ask by the pt makes it more real for me.

Quite clinical and realistic, but extra-thorough and invasive; i like rectal temps, extremely thorough breast exams, long digital exams, and the like. Curiously, a gown is imperative for me to feel like it's a real encounter.

I only like entirely realistic exams during play. I never reverse the roles of examiner and examinee with a given individual. I enjoy both roles, however, my examiners never assume the patient role and my patients never get to examine me. Furthermore, I never see my examiners naked, nor do I ever let my patients see me naked. For me, role reversal or mutual sex play would destroy the humiliation and embarrassment that I need for a satisfying experience. All my exams consist of systematic full body exams with the genitalia and anus exposed only at the times those body parts are to be examined. I do allow my examiners to masturbate me after the exam is completed but they must remain clothed, or the session ends immediately. I feel it is essential that the patient never see the examiner naked to maintain the relative power roles that sustains the patient's embarrassment.

Fantasy. Goes way back to childhood. Bondage, inappropriate experiments etc.

For me, the play exam must be realistic. Yes, I know that they do not take rectal temperature anymore (not as much as they used to) but hey, that is still considered an approved medical procedure for temperature taking . The length of each procedure may not be realistic - that is what play is all about. So long as a procedure is a standard/approved medical procedure, I am all for including it, even though in the context of the play exam, it may not be medically necessary to perform that procedure.

On the subject of gowns - I leave it to the patient since there is no consensus.

For me it's got to be the latter. I would prefer my play exams to be realistic, but involving my fantasies for example being restrained. It's more of a turn on that way and also means you can live out some of your fantasies in the right situation and with the right partner. 😃

I prefer a detailed, clinical and relatively realistic scenario that just starts to tread into fantasy. Fantasy elements like restraints and enemas are great, as the effort required to suspend disbelief is minimal, but when the doctor disrobes or otherwise breaks character, that is sort of a bummer.

Clinical...but with fantasy elements. A doc who examines my very sensitive nipples with one hand while stething me, or who gives me a very thorough digital rectal exam while I am lying on my left side, his stethoscope poised over my mitral valve. Definitely a very realistic bimanual exam...

For me it's a mixture of both really...

I like the examination techniques & setting to be as realistic as possible, but to include a very lenghty genital exam with me being totally naked for all bar the first few mins of the exam. To add to my humiliation, it's better if there are other people there, to be able to watch the exam in full.

I've had this happen quite a few times, as well as other times when it's just been me and the doc.

I have also had a couple of pure fantasy exams, which ended up more as swingers evenings.

I think a play exam needs to be realistic but in a dream-like way. You know how everything in the dream is realistic but distorted by our perception so it includes things that we fear or worry about or desire. The best play doctor is someone who knows some of those deep dark secrets of the patient. When the role play goes somewhere totally out of reality then that ruins the role play.
