How many STRAIGHT men would spank or be spanked by another man?

The last time I was spanked by a male was when I was a pledge in my fraternity in the 1980s !

I find chatting here with other men (of any orientation) very pleasurable, and the idea of being examined or spanked by a man is provocative. But from across a room, I have never looked at a man and felt an immediate sexual attraction like I would on seeing an attractive woman. I can say that a man is handsome, fit, etc, but the internal, primal reaction just isn't the same. And yet, if it's a firm hand across the bare bottom, or a gentle hand taking a rectal temperature, it doesn't matter whose hand it is.

This is by no means an exhaustive description, and I'm not sure what to call it or how to fully describe it. (edit: To be honest, I shy away from labels because a label indicates that a phenomenon is cataloged, and the matter can be closed. I'm still exploring.)

Many guys need the discipline and it’s not related to sex. The severity of the spanking depends on the individual. Some like the hand, others an implement such as a paddle, brush etc and occasionally the belt.
