Ever meet someone on the internet?

After my divorce in 2008 I have periodically dated on various internet dating platforms. Most women I met were “scream and fly into the night” I realized that it was numbers game. I had one 18 month thing but she was controlling and had anger issues. In 2023 I decided I was going for it. I spoke with a number of women and dated several for three dates max. I gave up in despair. When I finally realized I’d had enough I met @Iris1858 here on Zity. Though she lived in another state we were a house afire. When we finally met in the flesh it became a conflagration! I knew in about twenty minutes that she was the one. She moved here and we have lived together for 15 months. We are getting married in August. Who’d have thunk it?

Yes, I've met users from this forum in person before. They were all very pleasant experiences.

Yes but not recently (although I attempted to schedule a "Pre-employment Interview/Physical Exam" with a very nice gent here on zity but we couldn't get our schedules to work - he lived about an hour away so it was too complicated).
