I've been doing this since 2002 and let me tell you it's a commitment because you have to do it every day in order to remain free of irritation. The good news is that once you get into this routine it becomes just that, routine. Here's how I do it.
First I always do it in the shower and forget about mirrors and expensive shaving creams. Use a Gillette Fusion Razor or a Schick Hydro Razor (don't let all the blades scare you) along with Nivea Cream soft and a as it's incredibly slippery and makes it easy to pass the razor over any and all of your sensitive areas.
If you are in a stand up shower you can always squat and this will give you all the freedom of movement you will need. If you are in a regular tub with shower fixture, start by placing your foot on the soap tray that is usually located just below waist height. This will allow you to shave in a position similar to squatting.
Next is the hardest and most delicate part although once you get the hang of it you will find that you can do it very quickly and efficiently. The hardest part is learning the movements but like any movement you have to teach your hands, they will get it and it will become automatic and easier with every shave. It's all done by feel but trust me it WILL get easier and eventually you will be able to do it all in less than 5 mins.
Every stroke around your ass-hole is done from the middle OUT and AGAINST the grain of the hair. Start at the top of your crack and work your way down to your ass-hole. Give it quick feel with your hand to make sure everything is smooth with AND against the grain. When doing your perineum, your strokes start at your asshole and UP towards your nut sack. Shave around your nutsack and the "bikini line" to make sure everything is smooth but don't shave the middle part of you nut sack unless you truly want to be 100% smooth. I find that shaving the entire nutsack often leads to unnecessary irritation after doing it for a few days. After that, shave above your dick to make sure that you are totally smooth and that's that. Remember, the smoother you shave the more comfortable you'll be all day. After you get the hang of it, you should be able to do this in under 5 mins. And don't be afraid to pass the razor over the area again if you're not convinced it's smooth enough.
Once you are out of the shower. Dry off the area and apply this product:

The salicylic acid in the moisturizer will prevent red bumps from forming.
Last step in all this maintenance is to keep the area slick all day so there is no friction. This is done by applying a very small amount of silicone lube to the "bikini line crack" and your ass crack. You don't need much but you DO need it and don't bother experimenting with other lubes. I've tried them all and silicone lube works the BEST. Trust me I've been doing this for over 10 years.
Surprisingly enough, this whole process as tiresome as it was to read should only take you a total of ten mins to complete.... Much less time that it took me to type this out and proof read it.
Good luck and enjoy your new look and feel. I do every day 😉
