Too sore after an enema for anal sex

I'd also ditch the douche nozzle in favor of a rectal nozzle. The common douche nozzles in drugstore bags have a cross-shaped cross-section that is, at least in our impression, fairly unpleasant in the anus and the insertion may cause soreness. If a wider or longer nozzle is needed, some online stores sell the necessary items.

I will also concur about the lemon juice being very irritating. If it can burn you lips drinking it (if you actually tried to drink it) then of course it will be just as irritating coming out your anus. Use warm water enemas to clean yourself prior to doing anal play. That is all you need to do.

Another tip...

Before or during the enema, rub a neutral hand lotion or vaseline onto the anal canal tissues and it'll help avoid irritation. Those tissues are rather fragile and sensitive and coating them in advance can make a big difference.

It sounds like the OP may be describing "piles" which is a little different from hemorrhoids in that they make their way outside of the sphincter without much straining at all. They usually retreat just as readily once your off the toilet and going about your business. At least this is my experience, as I almost always have exposed piles after even brief enemas. The thing is, they are very sensitive and can be irritated pretty easily. Mine are usually pretty sensitive after an enema session.

With that said, I manage to have fairly active anal play without any problems. Besides the obvious - DITCH THE LEMON JUICE! - Here are some things I find helpful for keeping a healthy and comfortable butthole.

1. As Susie said - when wiping, "blot" rather than "wipe"

2. Once your done wiping - refill your bag with clear water, rub a little baby shampoo on your ass - then treat yourself to an external rinse. Gently use your fingers to make sure you clean all of the crevices around the piles. Blot dry with a towel.

3. Get a dab of Vaseline (I prefer the Cocoa Butter version) and gently but thoroughly coat your piles. Stand up and walk around for few seconds. This usually sufficient for the piles to subside back into hiding. Finally, gently wipe any excess vaseline that may be on the outside of your butt. Make sure you avoid removing the Vaseline applied to any piles that may still be exposed.

I'm not sure why? I would suggest you see a Dr & explain your problem.I am never sore after an enema(but sometimes after anal sex)but it pass's quickly!
