Burningman? Any Burners?

Awesome! I wanna go so bad but it's too far and no one wants to go with me. I may be at school by where it is next year.. And if so I'll be so down

I know a lot of people who go and I have heard it's great. I say I'm going to go every year but I haven't followed through with it yet. I will really make an effort next year!

I've never been able to get away that long, due to my schedule. I'm going to Burning Flipside in Austin, which is an alternative for die hard Burners. It's from May 23-May 27 this year. My best guy friend Dan is a longtime Burner, and we are camping out in 3 tents with his Tribe.

I hear there's a spanking tent and a Fetish camp!

Next year: the Playa !!!!

Total serendipity. This thread is back just in time for me to pipe up and announce that I scored a Last Chance ticket and will pop my playa cherry in a couple of weeks. After attending a couple of e-fests, doing a demo at the most recent one, and working in Antarctica for the last seven years I think I'm kind of prepared. Just the same, I'm a little nervous. The bar is apparently pretty high.

It looks like Vince is back doing his thing again. I see him on the theme camps list under the name "Special Places Camp".

I'd love to meet up with anyone else from this forum who will be attending.

I WISH I could go. Burning man is amazing (I was there in 200😎. This is not my year to return....but I WANT to, and when I do, I doubt I will miss the enema camp!

I've always wanted to do this event. A buddy of mine and I talked about putting a generator in a trailer and putting a band together to play there. We never did it though and the guitar lessons never went anywhere either. Still like to go sometime.

sadly, i am not able to attend, i miss it so much!

I've been there 5 times but not in the past 7 years. Can't recommend it enough. Life changing experience.
