Am I wrong, or are some of these posts creepy?

I want to keep an open mind and not be judgmental or leap to conclusions, but some of the questions posted seem a little too child-oriented to me.

I acknowledge that I am a victim of childhood sexual abuse so I might be hyper vigilant. Am I the only one who notices this?

This is a constant issue.

As an ageplayer, my fantasies are linked to childhood. It's not pedophelia. Some people cross the line. At the same time, some people lose it if anyone so much as includes any reference to childhood. I'm a spank and this is even more prevalent on spanking-oriented sites.

I'm not accusing you of that, nor do I mean to belittle your experiences. But please try to understand that for some of us, our fantasies are linked to childhood experiences or fantasies of same, and its how relate to our kinks. It's not about wanting to exploit youngsters in any way.

I am not sure which posts you refer to, but I am aware that some posters may cross the line. The site has rules about such things, and the best thing to do is report them to a mod. They do a pretty good job. But again understand that just because something makes you or uncomfortable or turns you off does not necessarily mean its in violation of site rules.

Also note - yes - periodically someone will post demanding all such content be removed and banned, without exception or nuance. It usually doesn't go over well.

Honestly, it seems the majority of the prolific posters here have some medical/sexual related trauma in their past that, in at least part, drives their fetish. Talking about it (direct stories about what happened to you written in a non-prurient way) are OK. For many it’s helpful to be able to talk about it.

There are also a lot of people who abuse it. Claiming to have been victims but are basically writing child p*rn. If you see something, report the post. The moderation team is really good about dealing with stuff that crosses the line.

Sorry for my input !! - but the emphasis " it seems as ......, is more than correct, in my thought's !! - for me, there are no memories in my youth - time, that was responsible for my " special desires ", they all " was born " some years later !! - and as i mentioned before, i have to vomit, when reading many (!!! ) post's in this direction !! - and i would hope for all of them, that they was born as phantasies - sadly enough -, and really never happened !!!

Some of the more recent ones have been pretty bad. I get trying to work through your abuse issues but some of the details and the positive terms it is discussed in seems too much for public consumption

That statement might help some of you to understand what might be crossing the line, and what factors will lead to content being removed - and also, in cases where we form a belief that a member has clear paedophilic tendencies, lead to them being permanently banned.

If something seems off, report it at the time you see it. Don't just think it's someone else's problem. We don't punish people for reasonably reporting content. The worst that can happen is that we disagree that there is a problem.

The mods are fantastic ... @DrZ 🌷 especially ... in checking out legitimate concerns.

I agree that some posts are a bit creepy. Concerning issue of child abuse, I was spanked by my mother fairly often as a child all the way up until I left the "family nest." However, I have never considered it to be child abuse and it actually made me feel closer to my mom as she never spanked in anger. First I would get a lecture concerning my misbehavior, then placed over my mother's knee and spanked on my bare bottom. Afterwards, I was brought back up on her lap and hugged with encouragement to do better in the future. Afterwards, my behavior was not mentioned again unless repeated. Since this is an adults only site, members reporting their childhood experiences does not seem harmful to me if the "abuse" goes much beyond how punishments were done and accepted years ago. Reading of others childhood experiences might and may help some members better understand their feelings. That being said, spanking in general is no longer considered acceptable and I have found that taking away cell phone and/or I-Pad is likely more effective than a spanking so my kids have never had the experience (or privlege? lol) of being spanked. While I respectfully diagree with some of what Alex says, I do 100% agree with staying safe, sane, and especially legal.

There are stories or topics I could post on that probably would fall within site guidelines, but given how controversial even those are, I choose not to. Partly our of respect for others' sensibilities and partly out a desire not to get hassled.

This may not be verbatim, but how about the thread titled Did your pediatrician spread your butt cheeks to look at your anus? I’m here because of childhood trauma. I get that. But asking a question like that, or another thread when did the doctor first notice your pubic hair, and other similar threads are clearly over the line. This is a fetish site, and those are not questions asked because they are therapeutic. People are here for sexual gratification and that’s fine, but leave children out of it!
