So, too far? I'd consider this to be somewhat normal for an "edgy" session.
Thoughts? Be nice. I don't need a bunch of, 'alcohol is dangerous" messages... Been doing this for years so your opinion isn't really relevant... Yeah I know there is risk, etc. But so what? Life is what it is...
I'm more interested in your experiences. What did you do that was, "too much - or too far?" I have some stories and thoughts on this but I'd like to hear yours.
i have so many thoughts on this, but i cannot write them all, i think writing them all here would be "too far." So, i'll try to limit myself ('god' help me).
A few thoughts on butt chugging. Three positives of anal over oral for alcohol one might argue are:
1). Saves money taking much less to get the same effect.
2). Takes less because it bypasses the liver and the metabolic effect that the liver has on alcohol, which is bad for the liver, so in that respect it may be a better (if not 'good') way to imbibe?
3). There is a carcinogen/metabolite (acetaldehyde) produced by the liver when taken orally, there might be a benefit bypassing the liver? (idk, speculating).
Bottom line (so to speak) for me is i agree with Rigel. One can eat healthy, live in a bubble, take all sorts of precautions and die healthy and miserable. A person who dies healthy is just as dead as one who dies sick and with a worn out body. Health is about a lot more than physical health. i think it comes down to individual choice.
As a critical care nurse, i am daily reminded that the number one killer in the west is not butt chugging, gerbils stuck in the colon, sex, STD's, BDSM... just to mention a few popular moralist whipping boys. The top killers are all diet caused/related.
Like You, others might judge many things i have done in life as too much or too far, but i don't perceive those things that way.
i think many social standards are "too much" and go "too far."
