My mother was brought up during the depression. It was criminal in our house to leave anything on your plate - e.g. that would be “wasting” food. That’s a fact Jack! 😀. While you burn a lot of calories doing aerobics, you get a longer sustained metabolism burn lifting weights. A combination of all three ( diet, aerobic, and weights) is probably optimal. I get an elevated heart rate lifting as well as doing cardio. “FOR ME” is correct, we’re all different.

I was on the wrestling team in junior & senior high. During wrestling season I was weighing myself daily to stay in my weight class. During this time I was also getting regular enemas from my mom. Because mom, by that time, had long since stopped giving us enemas. So, my brother and I would ask our sister to give us a couple of enemas when needed. And she did, likewise, asking us whenever she needed a couple of enemas. Once the one in need had been taken care of, we reciprocated, giving the one asked a couple of enemas.
