Surgical role play

Being a big fan of surgical role play, I've read that many others share this interest.

What's your favourite surgical role play scenario? I've read that a very common process of excitement is the preparation for surgery... does it go any further for anyone?

I've no real interest in cutting (although it would be fun if safe and not so painful), but I'm much more into the actual 'procedure' as opposed to the preparation.

In my fantasy scenario I'm quickly put onto the table and strapped down tight, while the female surgeon approaches, gloved, gowned and masked up where I'm comforted, but reminded that it's going to uncomfortable. The procedure is to be in the penile area, and there's a lot of calming, relaxing, but confident reassurance. Face stroking, hand holding in between the painful parts of the procedure.

The female surgeon will explain every detail of what's going to happen to me at every step, which just heightens the anticipation.

I was very lucky several years ago, I began dating a nurse. While she was not a surgical nurse, she did work in the post operative ward so she had very easy access to all kinds of equipment and uniforms. I would regularly get text messages like "What you up doing tonight? Surgical play?" - That brightened up my afternoon knowing she was coming over with some goodies that evening. Having formal medical training made the role play that much more special. She would lay me down and work on me for over an hour, once she used some ties to strap me to my desk chair, where I could not move.

My favourite procedure she would perform would be mid procedure (so she'd be gloved, gowned and masked), she'd stroke my penis very lightly so I could feel the latex, which would make me throb (it didn't take much), she'd then lift it 90 degrees from by body and hold the upper part in her gloved hand... at which point she'd reach over, stroke me on the face and ask me to take a nice deep breath, explaining that this was going to feel a little uncomfortable, and then she'd force my foreskin (un-cut) as hard as she could back, and then keep pushing even when it could go no further. The pain was intense, but it felt so amazing.

So, there's my experience with surgical role play and my favourite aspects. What are yours?

Well that i have to say is a scenario i find very appealing, and as my own medical fetish is born out of my childhood circumcision, i can not only relate to it but also find surgery fantasy and reality a turn on, though for me the nurses and doctors are ideally male,

if i could find a partner to treat me to surgical role play in this fashion then i wold indeed jump at the chance,

my recent experience of real surgery, i found rather enjoyable, including the two day stay on the ward post operatively

I like all aspects of surgical roleplay from prep to procedure and recovery. I especially appreciate a patient the participates fully.

With the talk of "surgical" role play here and in another thread or two, does anybody actually get incised, have a flap elevated and/or get sutured?

@SwitchableSusie - I hope not! We have enough problems these days keeping sterile in a fully functional OR. Only an idiot would willingly go under the knife for real in a medfet OR!

The idea of an actual incision excites me, but an actual incision isn’t something I’d want to try.

If there could be a stone cold guarantee that it wouldn’t be enormously painful and would be enticed sterile, I’d consider something small and superficial. But I don’t see how that can ever be the case.

I’m ok with mild needle play, intramuscular only. So in theory I’d have no major problem with sutures.

The main attraction for me is the talk of what’s going to happen with the professional setting of a surgeon telling me exactly what she’s going to have to do to me. My imagination does a great job from here on.

Sounds are great, and I’d love to try being cath’d. Never done it, but very keen to try.

There are so many components of surgical roleplay that excite me, both as the doctor and patient in the scenario. The prep, the exposure, knowing how many sets of eyes are watching you, it's such a unique fantasy. I barely remember having a minor procedure as a child but it was formative. Need to have a hernia addressed soon so that will be "fun" in it's own way

Aside from shaving, gowning, prepping, disinfecting the surgical site and draping, inserting a rectal or urethral temperature probe (or a catheter to simulate it) and putting on an anesthesia mask, there isn't anything you can do to make it "surgical." Maybe a very few people will have sutures sewn into themselves.

Surgical roleplay is a total misnomer because nobody ever gets cut open unless you are lucky enough to have facilities like ORR where you can actually experience the blood and gore of surgery.

I would say surgical role play is IMPOSSIBLE to do in person.

I know people like that but the sight of blood, especially mine really freaks me out! For someone who has done it in real life maybe but I can't see anyone ever going that far.

I spent most of this year in hospitals, on wards, and on two occasions, in pre-op watching very invasive preparations for surgeries. Not just IV's that go into veins, but arterial lines that need an incision to go directly into the artery. Talk about intense. And as much as medfetters might be excited by it, not all of the patients in those wards are. Some are darned uncomfortable! I have had minor surgeries, but nothing like that. I have enjoyed role playing surgery this year, as the doc, including doing research to prepare for the role. To me, the more detailed it is, the more involved it gets, and the more real it feels. At least it has changed one thing. I use to be squeamish! Unfortunately, a lot of surgery role play has to be left to the imagination!

My experience in surgical role play has been only related to simulation of surgical procedures. My play doctor prepeared my genitals in different ways. She simulated paraphymosis with preputial saline injections. Phymosis and balano-preputial adhesions: gluing the prepuce onto the glans. After that I get naked on the examination table with legs spread and a surgical drape is placed to cover the operating site from my sight with that. During the simulated surgery the doctor used probes and specillums on my genitals. She described all steps of what she was doing step by step. It was emotionally intense because she is very professional. All sort of real surgical instruments are used except sharp ones. When it is the time to cut the tissues she uses a special blunt scalpel connected with an electrostimulation device. She involved me in very intense sessions performing simulated postectomies, frenectomies. Sensations of the thin electrode slipping on the sensitive genital mucosa is an intense pain similar to a blade but temporary. She also makes surgeries of the glans such as meatotomy. Apart from that, clamping, grasping, dilatations, injections and also suturing with needles is done with real surgical instruments and techniques.

I have actually had a few operations, and I thought it would scare me off from surgical fantasies, but it actually makes me crave it more. My favorite surgery is open appendectomy. It's very routine, but it would involve a good prep and a urethral catheter. My thoughts are to have it done, but being video recorded from the moment I am brought into the operating room until the surgery is over and I'm taken to recovery. Also some urological procedures interest me as well.

My favorite scenario is to undergo oral surgery as a patient. I imagine being led into operatory by assistant and positioned into sturdy contoured leather chair. As is my custom in this setting, I'm clothed just enough to be decent in public, perhaps athletic wear like sleeveless running shirt and shorts. The prep starts by reclining me flat supine with head back, then strapping each wrist (and maybe bicep) to the armrests, followed by a seat-belt pulled taut across my hips, then more straps around around each ankle and thigh. Finally, a belt is cinched tight across each shoulder diagonally over the chest and opposite flank, so that they crisscross at my sternum and fixated behind each shoulder, the opposite ends being secured to the chair frame after crossing the contralateral iliac crests. Net effect is that my torso and hips are pulled back and downward into the backrest and seat cushion. Now I can't move. The doctor comes in and tests all restraints, pulling them tighter. She starts her own IV, slipping a #18 cannula into a large forearm vein. She opens my mouth and applies a gag to hold my jaws open wide, inserts suction tube and nasal trumpet. Now I cannot speak and have mounted a huge erection, now quite obvious. Chest and ab muscles bulging as I try futilely to move.

This can go on and on, N2O mask pulled tight over my nose while cold sedative flows into my vein. Not quite fast enough to have effect prior to aggressive intraoral injections of lidocaine. Always variations on this theme...supine, immobilized and gagged at the mercy of the surgeon. It could be anything: getting a dental implant, having a third molar extraction, etc. Exquisite pain with insane level of erotic tension building to ecstatic release is the only escape.

This is a bucket list thing for me!

My ideal scenario would be. Walking into the or and getting up on the table getting strapped down with general anesthesia given to me the the anesthesia mask being put on my face then being intubated

I’ve had real surgery, but never role played it. I think it could be interesting, though!

My play doctor and I have actually been discussing this a bit lately, a scenario in which he would be wearing scrubs and a head gear with magnifying goggles and I would be lying face down and naked on the operating table. He would give me a little something to relax me and perform some minor but invasive procedure on my rectum, maybe with a speculum.

Admittedly don't have too much experience with surgical play (most of my RP experience comes from websites like F-list, where surgical play is basically code for "mad science" 99% of the time). But with that said, I definitely enjoy the aesthetic and feeling of a surgical room quite a lot. I've incorporated that into several scenes I've done, a patient strapped down into an OR with a surgical mask, an ECG and an IV on as she has to undergo some particularly invasive procedure, such as cervical dilation. Never did it with an actual surgery, however.

For me its really the sanitising, gloving, and initial feeling part that is just awesome. a surgery roleplay would be amazing

Would love to try a circumcision roleplay.

The good doctor carefully evaluating the foreskin, skinning it back and forth... Tugging on it, pushing the penis into the groin or pushing it out, to assess the amount of skin to be removed. Finally marking the incision line and painting the whole area with betadine. Maybe in complete silence as the patient looks down and at a small tray of tools and clamps. Oh my...

I would prefere to stop at the preparation stage. "Please Doctor, is that necessary?“

As a scenarios for surgical play I really love the idea about genital surgery (like circumcision for example), and foot surgery as well.

My ideal play scene involves surgery; however, for me, it’s a long/term, continuous play. It starts with a basic exam, a referral to several specialists, a pre-surgery exam, surgery, and post-op care.

I love the whole preparation done before the surgery. The actual cutting me open, not so much.

Surgical role-play, at least in text form, is my favorite form of role-play scenario. I too gravitate towards scenarios that revolve around operating on the genitals and reproductive organs, though my preference is the female genitals. Most scenarios I run involve speculums and scopes, dilation, and things of that nature. Though I really like cesarean section birthing scenarios as well. All that said two things I think set surgical role-play (or surgical scenarios) apart. First, the complete and utter vulnerability of the patient, especially if they are “put under.” Conversely the totally control of the patient by the doctor/surgeon. Second, the undeniable pull of the danger and thrill of the incision, even if it's just the possibility of it. Yes, the second plays into the first.

Minor gynecological surgeries are easily faked in a play scenario. The prep of shaving/waxing, scrubbing, desinfecting the area, draping and strapping down the legs are a must. Insert a catheter. Make a scene of changing your gloves. Use bigger speculum than usual, if the patient is brave enough and you have the experience, use needles or even saline injections. Pain caused by “surgery” can be imitated with well placed needle pricks, pinches, dilators even. Clamp the labia and the clit. And comment what you are “doing” 😃

My surgical role play fantasy goes from the exam room to being strapped down and given conscious sedation. The surprise element and preparation before the surgery trigger feelings of shock, embarrassment and finally submission.

My fantasy is visiting the doctors office/ outpatient surgrey clinic. I have new insurance and haven’t met my new primary care physician. I am having sharp abdominal pains. After completing the intake form I am ushered into an exam room and asked to strip down to my underwear and put a gown on. The Physician Assistant examines me and says it‘s my appendix the doctor is with another patient and will be in shortly. He says a nurse will assist with the preparation. The nurse comes in, is a male that lives in my building., kind of awkard he helps me lie on the table and ties my feet in stirrups. Then he straps me down and secures my wrists behind my head. Then he covers me with a sheet. I am given a mild sedative to relax me. When the doctor walks in I am shocked because he is my ex’s new husband. He says we’ll we finally meet and has a smirk on his face as he pulls the sheet off and examines me. He tells the nurses she hasn’t shaved me yet he is going to review the X-rays and administers more sedation to the point I am almost going to pass out but am still awake. When he comes back he says we need a few more tests and gives me a speculum exam and says well the X-rays confirmed it it isn’t your appendix it’s another issue but don’t worry we’ll take care of it and finally puts me under. my last memory is the nurse placing a tray of instruments on my lower abdomen. When I awake the doctor said the circumscion was a success!
