I believe this post has been somewhat misnomered. “Male childbirth” refers to an extension of the mpreg fetish (which I cannot fathom why it is even a thing, but to each their own).
While being a biological male, I've always dreamt about getting pregnant, carrying to term and experience all the glorious pains of birthing. If only it was possible, I'd swap my body for a woman's without batting an eye.
I honestly believe it's a tragedy of my existence and I do feel robbed of the possibility to experience it naturally. So, since my early childhood, I was looking for ways to simulate pregnancy, and later - birth.
Over the years, I've tried so many things, from walking with fake belly in public (in proper attire and nice makeup, no less) to water and air belly inflation and saline infusion to painful enemas and pushing out huge inflatables that felt like they are about to break my pelvis.
I've become so educated I can easily imagine what pregnancy and birth feels like down to minute details. And I think I can act as an ob/gyn now (unless there are complications, as I still haven't researched them yet).
There is still so much room for improvement and research, though.
So far, my best recipe for quasi-birth experience for men is a combination of a huge belly inflation with some strong enema solution (4 litres of M&M or Mayo enema should do the trick) and an inflatable plug, inflated with water, not air, as air is easily compressed.
The problem I see here is that this combination will never last long enough. Women can have painful, cramping labor for hours, not minutes. Besides, the fetus begins its travel from abdomen, not rectum, which is waaaay highe and longer. So, these issues require refinement, but not in a way that can cause a medical emergency.
