In response to ericmacson.
I have done several 4 qt enemas in the 12 years or so that I've had the 4 qt bag
I have not counted the exact number, but never more than ONE four-quart per session and certainly not every session.
In fact I have not done 4 qts now in over a year.
I'm 5 ft 11 with no natural waist and am often described as "Well endowed"
Not really obese but certainly far from fashion model thin.
Most enemas I take are 2 US qts, although I DO occasionally use a 2-imp qt enema bag.
I use the 3-qt bag for when I'm really serious Ike when I think I'm actually constipated or when I do my what used t be 3-4 times per year, has become once or twice a year system cleanouts.
I bought the 4-qt bag online because I had t try it. Why did I have to try it? Not sure, maybe some masochistic tendencies.
Once I used it ONCE and yes it DID hurt even that first time, I found that 2 qt, enemas, even 2 imp qt enemas really did not produce the same sensation as they had before. It took a 3-qt enema to do that. The other thing that pulls me towards the 3 qt bag is that lately I have gotten best results from a 5-in flexible nozzle, and that only fits my 3-qt bag.
Yes, I still OCCASIONALLY take a 4-qt enema If I had to guess how often I would say every 3rd or 4th complete cleanout.
Yes I DO ALWAYS get some nausea and moderate lower abdominal pain with EVERY 4-qt enema! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Might just be the strength of the soapsuds solution, And that's OK, but it DOES happen!
