Following the large-bottomed Trisha, it wasn’t but a few steps before she and Taylor entered a brightly lit exam room. The interior of the office was proportionate to the waiting room. Taylor faintly remembered passing two doors on either side of the hallway before arriving at the last door on the right. There were cabinets on the left side of the wall with a sink and a shorter desk area. There was an exam table sitting at an angle equal to the back wall and the right wall of the room, an old-fashioned scale with the slide bar on top along the right wall, and two chairs against the wall they had entered. Trisha pointed to the exam table and told Taylor he could sit there.

Trisha opened her computer on the short desk and pulled the stool out to have a seat. She went through Taylor's chart, asking him about any medical problems, allergies, or medications that he takes, along with a series of other questions regarding his medical history. After the inquisition, Trisha informed Taylor that she was going to take his vital signs. She slipped a small probe on his finger, grabbed the blood pressure cuff, and wrapped it around his muscular arm. After inflating and slowly deflating the cuff, she informed Taylor that his blood pressure was great, 114/68. She removed the probe from his finger and again sat down at her computer to document the results she had just obtained. She then grabbed a thermometer and requested Taylor to place the probe under his tongue. After a few seconds, the thermometer beeped, and she removed the probe. Trisha picked up her computer and documented Taylor’s temperature. She then moved towards the door. With her hand on the doorknob, she told Taylor, “You need to remove everything except your underwear, and you can sit back on the table. Dr. Smith will be in shortly. Trisha then opened the door and quickly exited the room, leaving the door ajar about ¼ the way open. It took a few seconds for Taylor to register what was just requested of him. Taylor stepped off the table and walked a few steps towards the chairs opposite of him.
