An Unrelated Incident

Chapter 17

Zoey:

I was relieved to hear Mommy would give me a bath and a clean diaper. Lana was smart for laying still. There was nothing to be gained by moving the mess around. She forced me to walk around but it was to help Mommy and that was more important than a clean diaper. I don't even notice wet diapers anymore but messy ones are hard to ignore.

I love nothing more than the attention of Mommy and Mommy loved caring for me. It was a gift from above that let us find each other. It depressed Trisha at the lack of funding for her nanobots and I was in a wheelchair with no hope of continuing the things I loved. I had money but couldn't buy the use of my legs back. It was a dark time for both of us when we met. Now, these were the happiest days I could ever remember.

It was bath time. One of the favorite times for both Mommy and me. I stood there like a good girl as Mommy helped strip off my big girl's play clothes. I wouldn't be needing them again for a while. The paci remained in my mouth for now.

Mommy released my diaper cover and put me on the changing table. She opened my nasty diaper and started wiping my bottom clean. She put the nasty diaper in the disposal trash and Mommy fastened me around the waist while she ran a bubble bath.

When the tub was full and the bubbles were ready, she sat me in the middle of it and started soaping my back and tummy. She paid special attention to my little diapered parts. Except for my head, there wasn't a hair on my body. It had been lasered off when Mommy and I grew tired of the constant shaving.

Mommy laid me back and washed my hair. It was shoulder length when down. I liked it in pigtails. It would be some time before Brandi and Lana could do that. They were newborn babies and I was the big sister.

Mommy continued to soap and wash my face, arms and legs. Finally, she washed my bottom, slipping a soapy finger in my rear. I liked that. It wasn't as good as release day but it was nice to know Mommy cared enough to be thorough.

When Mommy pulled the pacifier out of my mouth and held out her hand, she said, “Has today been a good day, Baby?”

I responded by spitting my dentures into Mommy's hand and spoke in full toddler-speak, “Yeth, Mommy, it was a berry good day.”

“Mommy's so glad you enjoyed it,” she said, “Now, I'm going to dry baby off and give you a bottle. You need to rest while I go check on the twins. An hour in a messy diaper is plenty, don't you think?”

“Yeth, Mommy, an houwah is pwenty,” I said.

Mommy drained the tub, much to my sadness. Bath time was over and I needed to get ready for bed. It was going to be a big day with the twins and I needed rest to rebuild my energy. Mommy dried me off with a bath towel that had panda ears. I liked that towel.

Mommy placed me on the changing mat and rubbed lotion all over my hairless body. She rubbed rash cream on my smooth bottom and taped on a clean, thick pink nighttime diaper. A pair of locking diaper panties were fitted and secured in place. Babies need security.

Next, Mommy stood me up and helped me into a one-piece panda pajama outfit that zipped up the back and was also locked. The last piece of sleeping attire was the sleeping mitts. They kept baby's hands from places they shouldn't be. Babies need protection, sometimes from themselves.

She put me in my crib with my stuffed panda. Mommy went to get a warm bottle to help me sleep. It had all the things a growing adult baby girl needed to use her diaper as it should be. Mommy kissed me good night and lowered the top of my crib. She locked me in for the night with my blankie, Mr. Panda and a warm bottle.

Before she left, Mommy turned off the overhead light and left the mobile playing lullaby music with a star nightlight projected on the ceiling. I fell asleep knowing Mommy loved me.
