After Will’s rude awakening when he overstepped his bounds, the household returned to normality. Will’s job was going well and Amy was working for a publisher. Although the job was entry level it used her English major skills and gave her a feeling of achievement. Her volatile streak had only erupted once when she yelled at her mother for criticizing her decision to return to work, and after listening to her harangue her mother settled the argument with a modest spanking that Amy reluctantly agreed was probably deserved.
