My Doctor office finally opened and I was overdue for my physical exam so I made an appointment. With this virus i was instructed to wait in the car and call the office to let them know i was here and someone would come out to get me. I called the office when i arrived and waited in my car. This physical was nothing like the ones I was used to before this virus but I guess it is better to be safe for everyone.

A male nurse came out to get me. He was fully dressed in PPE gear and a full face shield. I had to fill out a Covid form. Then he escorted me in the office and right to an exam room. No counter stop first. He said the exam would be no skin to skin contact and he put on a pair of rubber cloves and instructed me to strip to my socks gave me a paper gown to put on. I did as so he was filling out paperwork. After the usual questions he did all my preliminaries and the told me to bend over the exam table that my temperature would taken rectally with a covered probe to be safe. I didnt want to resist so i bend over the table and he put the probe in my rectum waited for it to register. When he took it out he said i can sit on the table and the doctor will be in shorty.

Everything in the exam room was covered with plastic or paper. In a few minutes there was a knock at the door and the doctor came in also wearing full PPE gear and face shield.
