Examinations for Insurance- The Two Women Meet

As the two young, smartly dressed and attractive women- one the CEO of a small company, and the other a doctor who was the CEO’s company’s healthcare provider, sat in the hotel lounge enjoying a glass of wine, an air of achievement and both professional and personal and satisfaction surrounded them. They continued to be a little surprised by all the fuss and in particular the broad based recognition and adulation each had been receiving in her respective field over the past several months. All as a result of their strategic partnership to attempt to constrain health care costs at the CEO’s company. The strategy turned out to be an overwhelming success saving the firm a whopping 50% in medical related costs and a stunning 90% reduction in sick leave.

Both women knew very well the peculiar practices they employed were largely responsible for the stellar results. The secret to their success boiled down to the great reluctance of the CEO’s regular employees, all male, to use their medical benefits or to take sick leave unless the condition was very serious because doing so most certainly meant a visit to the company’s healthcare provider and the anticipated unpleasant and often humiliating experience that that entailed!

Dr. Bolton was 35 years old. A highly intelligent, self-assured woman who kept in tip top physical shape. She was accomplished in martial arts and competed in numerous demanding athletic endeavors. She deliberately wore form fitting outfits even in the exam room that showed off the fine lines of her very fit physique. She much enjoyed the sense of inferiority this instilled in patients, particularly males, as they stood naked before her with their soft, flabby bodies on full display. This heightened her sense of superiority in the exam room and caused most patients to become overly embarrassed and yet more submissive and pliable to make up for their physical shortcomings.

This was the hidden side of Dr. Bolton’s personality. Her great joy was to dominate males. Her position as a doctor provided her almost unlimited opportunities to satisfy this urge, while getting paid handsomely to do it. She loved her position! She could remember like it was yesterday the incident that caused these feelings to boil over.

The conversation between the two women eventually turned to the company’s health care situation.

Dr. Bolton expressed very enthusiastically, “I’ve presented a number of ideas to the insurance carrier that I’m confident will result in a further reduction in health care costs. I also think given the reduction in last’s year’s costs I will be able to get you and Rachel, as the firm’s two executives, covered with no cost to either of you.”

As she spoke, Laura Larson the engaging 33-year old CEO fidgeted nervously and finally interrupted her and looking seriously at the doctor announced she had something to get off her chest.

“I’m not sure how to explain this, and I’m certainly not proud of it, but I have to admit I enjoyed and got somewhat turned on last year when I assisted you with the examinations of my male employees. I just don’t know. I mean making them get naked in front of us and giving them intimate exams stirred feelings in me I didn’t know I had. I also found the experience has created a new normal in my interaction with them. They are almost to a man more docile, almost sheepish, in my presence. They also have become overly deferential to me and my authority.”

“So, what is the problem?,” the doctor asked in a nonchalant manner.

“I guess the bottom line is I feel I used my position to take advantage of them and,” the CEO came back frustratingly.

The doctor interrupted, “What’s the issue. If they are more obedient and inclined to defer to you not only is your leadership enhanced because they will follow directions and bend more readily to your will. Your job is made easier. That’s good!!!”

“I know, I know, but,” the CEO shot back.

“No buts. Now about the other part of what you said,” the doctor went on. “Come on Laura, enjoying and getting turned on dominating these men, making them undress and directing them into compromising and humiliating positions is natural. I’d be worried about you if you didn’t react that way”

“Do yo ever get excited or turned when you are examining handsome men,” the CEO asked.

“Come on Laura, I’m human! Don’t you think I get a little tingle between my legs when I tell a 20-something hunk or some big shot executive to remove all his clothes, or when some well hung guy is standing nude in front of me and I’m cupping his balls, or my favorite, when I have one of those mature, sophisticated types up on my table and I have a finger up his ass…and all these guys are paying me to do it! So yes I get turned on. But the most satisfying part is the authority and control I have in the exam room over them. These males regardless of age or stature guys will do whatever I tell them to do no matter how embarrassing or demeaning I make the situation.”

“And,” the doctor continued, “Think about this. What are they going to do about the situation. Complain. To whom and about what. Complaining would go over real well for them. Talk about being viewed as sour grapes. Male employees against two successful, highly recognized women, who enhanced care for employees while at the same time greatly reducing costs. Listen Laura, these guys are between a rock and a hard place. The only option they have is to quit. Given the economic situation in your industry good luck with that. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. Bottom line my dear, you, we, figuratively and well literally have these guys by the balls, so enjoy it!”

The young executive thought about what the doctor said. After a few moments she cracked a smile and a look of relief came over her face, and she responded, “I suppose you’re right.”

Of course I’m right,” the doctor retorted.

Both women burst out laughing and toasted the enviable position they were in.
