About 20 minutes later the boys heard a knock on the door. A heavyset women entered with a wheelchair.

“My name is Debbie and I’m here to take Tyler for an ultrasound,” she informed the young men.

After verifying Tyler’s wristband, she parked the wheelchair next to his bed and lowered the bed railing. Tyler began to scoot himself to the edge of the bed, but found himself rather weak still from the extreme pain he had endured.
