The truth again was that paddling at school by teachers and principals were not bare butt. But David didn't tell the whole truth though. He remembered the PE teachers and coaches sometimes paddled bare in the locker rooms and so the answer to Sharon's question was really, "yeah, sometimes." Which got her interest going even more. David: "Uh, for not following gym class rules or not listening or fighting."

David: "Like not wearing our gym uniforms or being late for class or being late getting dressed out and lined up for class or not showering or for messing around in the showers, stupid stuff like that."

Sharon: "Did you get paddled for not following those rules sometimes?"

David: "Yeah"
