Amy walks in stunned silence to the small waiting area. She barely notices Brittany waving at her, trying to get her attention. She has a seat next to her best friend. They give each other a sympathetic look, but sit in silence. The corporal is standing nearby, they remember the rules of no talking while waiting.

After a few more of the other girls return from the exam rooms, the corporal says “Listen up, those of you that have had your physicals, follow me back to the locker room!” Amy, Brittany and several other girls stand up and follow the corporal to the locker room. Once there, the corporal says “All of you may get dressed now, once you are done, I will bring you back to the main reception room. Once there, you may talk quietly with each other, and use your phones for texting ONLY! NO phone calls! I don’t want to hear a bunch of loud talking coming from the reception room, if I do, I will enforce a no talking rule once again! Now get dressed. Make sure to take everything from your lockers, and leave the locker doors open.”

All the girls have the same idea as Amy, they all head to the restroom area of the locker room, to use the toilet and “freshen up” some more. She pulls the knee highs back on, then sits down on the bench and puts on her low heeled Mary Jane’s, buckling the thin straps over the instep of each foot. Amy stands up, removes her fitted blouse, and puts on her shiny beige microfiber bra, then puts her blouse back on. She finishes by putting on her fitted blazer, leaving it unbuttoned. Brittany has also just finished getting dressed, they grab their purses out of their lockers, making sure they have their cell phones, and await the corporal to bring them out to the main reception room.

A few minutes later, after seeing everyone is dressed and ready, the corporal escorts the girls to the main reception room. As the girls have a seat, the corporal announces for the final group, group D, to follow her to the exam rooms for their physicals. The few remaining group C girls currently getting their physicals will rejoin their group shortly.
