Pooping the regular way
I've always enjoyed having a few good bm's between enema sessions. It's hard to believe but some enema lovers don't enjoy expelling or pooping.

Each Saturday I do a total colon clean-out. Because of this I don't have a natural BM until Thursday of the following week. For me it takes about five days to fill my colon.

I have a normal BM after about 15 mins. after I wake up with a few sips of coffee. Nothing like a cup of coffee to wake up and get things moving. LOL

I enjoy having a normal bowel movement everyday. I feel that the work and time and sacrafices I make on my diet are working

As far as expelling that depends on the circumstance. On a day when the enema just isn't coming out it isn't fun.

These are not either/or selections.
I guess I would be between sometimes and usually, although I do often wonder "maybe if I just waited one more day..." though I have trained myself to not wait too long as things rapidly get less pleasant. Still, the question remains: at 3 or 4 days do I really "need" one or would things work if I just wait longer?
I imagine I'm not alone among people with functional bowel issues in saying that it is really nice when things work on their own properly.
As far as enjoyment, I've gotten to where I let myself enjoy the enemas.

Usually I can't have a bm without some kind of help.
My thyroid has had industrial damage from high radio energy as a steeple jack. The MD says it looks like cottage cheese. That line of work had me all over the US. One of our people popped a blood vessel in his head because of constipation. I was having some serious elimination trouble as well. I was afraid to push like I wanted to. Not long after I learned to indulge in enemas with a thought toward, "Well good for you!" The last radio tower I went up was in 2003. I had played with enemas as a kid, but this was a total reinvention of the game. Now 15 years later I do them every 3 or 4 days.
