What’s to blame for your diapers?

My incontince is genetic. The loss of bladder nerves is heriditary. The progressive neuropathy affects my bladder, parts of my legs and my feet starting with the toes and moving back up the feet. I started wearing some protection in 1992 and now change my diaper twice during the day and one for the night. I find myself more interested in diapers and would resist surgery if a solution were offered.

My baby girl needs them for medical reasons. She took a fall down a flight of steps 6 yrs ago.

I was a bed wetter until 9/10 years old my mother kept me in nappies for bed i grew to like it. Thank you Mummy

(Step)mother diapered me every night because i wet the bed, spanked me for wetting because she thought i was "lazy". Diapered sometimes for punishment, also diapered for naps, trips. Now i need them for loss of bladder control and my Wife makes me wear them with plastic or rubber pants. They have been a big part of my life.

As far back as I remember, I always had a thing about baby pants. The nappies, which were cloth back in the ‘50s, never bothered me. In my early 20s I had an accident at work which damaged my back and caused me to wet myself. The solution to the problem was to wear a nappy and waterproof incontinence pants, which were awful back then. Thus I ended up having a genuine reason to wear my ‘baby pants’ and the nappies. Over the years ‘specialist’ suppliers have come along and I have enjoyed wearing more ABDL type protection rather than the bog standard inco type nappies and pants. While ‘baby pants’ still make me tingle, I admit I do love strutting about in my nursery print nappies and I love waking up in the morning and feeling inside my baby panties and nappy and knowing it was a good job I had my baby wear on through the night, as I am always without fail wet in the morning.

Personally I don't blame anyone or anything for my need to wear diapers/nappies except perhaps maybe my past epilepsy that I suffered as an adolescent back in the early 1990's when I was 12-13 years of age.

I also have had high functioning autism for my entire life since I was born in 1980, and yes I was in diapers as a kid up until I turned 5 years of age but again that wasn't by my own choice or my pearents it was due to my disabilities.

I wear my nappies or diapers with some sort of pride because I am no longer embarrassed or ashamed to have made the right choice in returning to them after I turned 30 in 2010, again not my choice you get the idea as I have mentioned this before.

Most of the time I don't need them although I wear them from time to time due to problems I can't control which sometimes hit me seemingly out of nowhere I do like to regress back to my childhood in private as mentioned earlier although this is for self therapy not because I am a freak.

Like most here and I suspect that I am not alone I wouldn't call what I have a fettish or habit as I hate even mentioning those words as I have been bullied for my entire life by pepole who don't know me this is just because I am autistic or different.

I am a bedwetter, had a nasty childhood.. was beat for wetting..spent much time at my grandparents place or every summer at numerous camps. I was teased alot, my grandmother was most sympathetic. She kept me in diapers most of the time because she didn't want the bed wrecked. She made me thick flannel diapers and plastic/rubber pants when I out grew baby ones. I always wore onepiece footed sleepers that zipped up the front. She changed me most of the time, using powder and baby oil and I quite enjoyed that. She adapted my clothes to accomodate thick training pants heavy outerwear in winter. I have never wore out any tighty whities because of my leakage or dribbles. I still do not mind the odor of pee on me or others.

I just started to wet myself, at school. I went to a Private School, from about seven until I was eleven. The Bastards made you ask to 'Be Excused' every single time, you needed to 'GO'. One day I just 'went', in my pants and shorts, it felt 'Lovely' all nice and warm and well Great! Yes it did begin to smell, after a few days, of wetting several times a day but I still, just LOVED, the feeling. Later on I went to a Boarding School, only to discover, I was FAR from alone, in wetting myself. I confess that, for a period, of about, two months I just wet myself every time that I felt 'It'. I didn't tend to Mess myself, I was often quite constipated, and had to Finger it out (I know, but hey it worked).

I don't wet myself now, though I DO 'Go' in the shower and on my Bedside mat- which is beginning to Smell, at last. So, come on everyone, let's hear YOUR wetting or messing, stories- don't be Shy.

I really need them, for medical reasons, I now like to wear them, especially with the help of my wife, she makes me wear diapers so that my bed is dry and my pants.

for me it is the fact that have double incontinence and have for my entire 68 years so diapers for me wasn't a option but required

Im to blame my aunt.she introduces me to wear diapers 24/7 since i was 11 years old.up to the present.im now 39 to 40..and she is 50...she wear 24/7diapers. too.we have a special relationship....my wife know about it.

I was responsible for wearing diapers, but I’m not to blame. Blame as a word infers it being wrong or someone is at fault. Wearing diapers certainly isn’t wrong

The only blame I can think of is being potty trained before I was two. Being the youngest I was never around any babies, all my cousins and friends were my age or older. At around six I did know a kid that wet his bed and for what ever reason I also want to wet my bed. I was to chicken to really do it but I would pee just a little to get my PJ's wet. Then around age eleven or twelve I all of sudden became interested in diapers and plastic pants. Why I have no clue, I just put it down to repressed memories. A couple of years ago I found an old photo of me standing in our front yard. On the back of the photo my mom had written Gary age sixteen months. I had on a cowboy hat, boots and just a cloth diaper and see thru plastic pants. The diaper most likely was wet because it was hanging low in my pant, I had a big smile. So maybe I remember being happy in my diaper and plastic pants, who knows.

I blame it on my bedwetting and wearing diapers so my bed would be dry

I wear 24/7 for medical need

I'm diapered 24/7 due to a spinal cord injury that caused my incontinence.

I don't use them very often, but I like to "hold it" and feel the rush when the dam breaks, but it I difficult to plan the moment. So a diaper prevents unnecessary embarrassment if I am out. Also I find them essential for long journeys by bus.

I started wetting due to being a diabetic wife and I talked about pros and cons she insisted I start wearing diapers to keep her dry.

I just like wearing a thick soft diaper and a pair of rubber pance with a t shirt on. Ive always had a thing for them, I enjoy it very much

I can't explain why either they've been like a drug to me since the 1st time I put one on even though I do need them for medical reasons they are my cocaine

The only reason I can think of why I love wearing plastic panties so much is that it's the way my brain is wired. After all a great many people wore plastic pants with their diapers in babyhood but for most, as soon as they become continent that's the end of it.

I can only wish I knew ? , Right from toddler age the love for soft plastic baby pants must have only come when my little sister was born ? .I remember looking at these panties as they were just washed ,and stacked up in the airing cupboard , They were all bloated up like rubber balloons , and then watching the neighbours visiting my mother rubbing these pretty "Rubbers " on their Stocking /tights ,and Im looking up their skirt & seeing the Rubbers rubbing ?? . . I have a slight fetish for balloons I guess ??? . But Thanks to AB Kingdom & Wellpadded ,has only made my "fetish " easier to understand or now we have these forums we can get it out of our system what our "hang-ups" are But I guess the Stacking & the aroma of the Plastic Pants makes my penis raise a smile .

I blame my memory being too good...I can remember doing a poo in a nappy when I was a toddler and not potty trained. I remember so many good feelings and sensations that I had to recreate it, and the rest is history.

I think it was a just something I grew up with ,But the one thing that does seem to stay with me is I can remember a Lady from next door used to come and visit my mother most mornings ,and one morning She picked up my baby sister who was still in her Nappies & "rubbers " from the night before ,as she placed her on her lap ,I noticed how the Plastic Pants & the aroma from the Pants was rubbing on the ladies longish legs & her Tights /Stocking ?? . This I think was the Start of it ,Plus I loved the Baggy Plastic Pants when they puffed up -bit like a rubber balloon -A real turn on to this day

I blame it on being on Zity, never thought about wearing a diaper and didn't know so many people did until i started reading the threads and stories on here. Thats when i decided to give them a try and see what it was all about. Glad that i did. The first time i wore them i stayed in them for 72 hrs. and went thru 24 of them. Now i will put one on when ever i have the time.

I chose "all or some of the above" but it's really a combination of the first two, I think. My mother was paranoid of germs, largely because when growing up her little sister was sick as a child and almost died; then as an infant the same thing almost happened to me. So she did everything possible to keep me in a "germ free" environment, and this included changing my diapers as soon as I used them, then getting me out of diapers as soon as possible (when I was two years old). I think that I must have loved being in wet / poopy diapers and missed them when they were changed and later taken away. That would explain why, as far back as I can remember, I was always drawn to and fascinated with diapers and seeing the other kids wearing and using them.

But then it was very much my idea to start peeking into my girl cousins' diaper pails and, when possible, taking them out and smelling them. Same thing with the girl next door who was my age but still peed in her pants and often left the wet ones laying around on the floor. And it was very much my idea to sneak off to my bedroom or to the basement to try wetting my pants just to see how it felt. And it was my idea to try pooping my underpants after seeing another kid do this at school. And a few years later, during puberty, it was my idea to try this again and now wearing "diapers" (I was doing the "towels and trash bags for plastic pants" thing).

And from that moment on, all of my diaper fun has been a result of craving them, then finding some way to have fun with them in the pursuit of getting myself off in them. So I think my mother is why I have such a desire to wear and use them, but all the creative ways I do this and enjoy it are my ideas.

My best friend from Kindergarten to end High School his Mother & Grandmother came from England ( they brought up with this) every 3-4 months my friend and his sister would be given an Enema for "A Cleaning " from age 5 & up after they expelled they both forced to wear diaper(s) from the Friday night -till Sunday SAID SYSTEM HAD TO GET back to use of Bowels and wanted "NO ACCIDENTS" Any How at age 8 my parents were going away and they baby sitting me same time as ENEMA WEEKEND his mother spoke to my mother FROM THEN ON EVERY 3-4 months I INCLUDED .this went on till we were 15-16 (got embarrassing last 4 years) Always made all 3 us total naked hold the enema for period time and then expel always could hear from other room plus embarrassment of diaper and changing at night .But got me into BOTH THE LOVE OF ENEMA and DIAPERS

As I just now posted, I'm a switch who likes submission and enemas, so I recently started wearing disposable diapers over my rubber enema catheter. I do not know but from before puberty I knew I would always wear diapers when i had a chance! 60 years later still love my soaking wet diapers!

I’m not sure of my reasons for liking diapers and plastic pants, I just know I always have. I think, my older sister may have encouraged my liking them. I don’t know if she wittingly did, but she got some kicks out of seeing me with plastic pants on my head, at times.
