Rectal temp for sure, I find it very stimulating and exciting.

Rectal temperatures are the only way for me. All my patients get the glass thermometer up their rectum!

I prefer to get a rectal reading before and after getting a bare bottom spanking.

First I have my pants and briefs lowered and placed over the knee. I prefer a glass mercury thermometer inserted without lubricant. Then it is removed and I get the spankings followed by a repeat rectal reading. I then compare the two temperature readings.

In normal life the temperature is meassured in the ear. But in play exams I prefere to be measured rectal.

took my temp before i went to the drs. office and there was a difference of 1.5 degrees from my rectal temp and the drs. ear temp. i made a comment to the nurse but nothing was done.

With 5 of us at home, mom believed that rectal was the best way to take temperature. I still get my temperature taken rectally for illness and to measure my fertility on a basal body temperature chart of my fertility.

Yes....What about ear thermometers, they are less exciting for the readers of this site, but quite usefull in ER or doctor's every day practice ?
