What do you like to use most often for your enema ?

Vicki V 2 years ago
If I'm backed up and need a good cleanse, Conti Castile bar soap with olive oil is effective with minimal cramping. A few swishes of this soap, enough to turn the water a little milky, seems to be my best formula for getting the most out with the most comfort.
I also like Emom's recommendation to use baking soda when I feel the need to relax my insides and take a stress enema. It's soothing to my gut, which also seems to give my emotions a good catharsis.

Emom 2 years ago
My all time favorite is baking soda. It is very gentle and soothing even if it isn't the perfect cleaning out. When I want to achieve one of those then it is usually Ivory bar soap just like my mom used on me. I'm not much for experimentation, but just know what works best for my particular body.

I use a bunch of them. Ivory, Kirks Castile, Bronner's peppermint, J&J baby shampoo, bisacodyl, glycerin, Mayo, tap water. My gut seems to work better if I keep things changing a bit.

Started with the plain water, then added some Palmolive dish soap (just a few drops), graduated to wine mixtures. Recently tried a vodka enema, with a 1 part vodka to 3 parts warm water ratio. Makes you feel really great in just a few minutes.

I use salt an bakin soda if I hold for 10 to 20 min’s or plane water if I don’t hold.

sea salt, coffee, then beer usually.

My very favourite is 5% glyverine solution: 100 ml of glycerine into 1900 ml of warm water. However I also like to have a sodium laureth sulfate (a tensioactive, practically a mild soap), 12 ml into 2000 ml of warm water. What if I mix the two?

Typically I do a series of 2-3 quarts of water with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap, followed by 2-3 quarts of water with sea salt and essential oils, followed by 2-3 quarts of plain water, and then sometimes one quart of coffee held for 12 minutes.

Occasionally I'll pee in a bucket and pour it back into me as a piss enema. Warm, salty, kinky.

n/a 6 years ago
My favourite is to mix 3 crushed Dulcolax tablets with 1 litre of warm salty water. Allow that to run into my colon and then fit a 3" plug. Another mix I use is 100ml glycerine with 1 litre of warm soapy water.

Depending on situation/mood. Plain warm water with a little Salt, Dr Bronners range or Kirks Castille.

Ivory soap or tap water.

I'm fairly new to it all. Only tried ivory soap solution twice. Plain water all the rest. But some of the solutions described here sound interesting. I just may try one or two.

After decades of "presonal research", my favorite enema solution, in whatever qualtity you prefer, is: Filtered water, boiled with S.A. Wilson's organic enema coffee (stimulating "health benefits"), plus espresso grind valilla coffee (adds rich coffee aroma while preparing), cooled to warm, plus Dr. Bonner's Baby Castile Soap (very mild), plus drops of tangerine oil (eliminates evacuation odors). "Try It - You'll Like It !"

I like to use coffee following a good cleanut with warm water. I've tried several solutions such as soap, epson salts, baking soda, various teas, etc. I don't find they enhance my experience at all. I basically am looking for gentle, relaxing enemas and the good feelings of energy and well-being they produce afterwards.

Sea salt and bicarb are the favorites for me. Less water absorption and the bicarb seems to "calm" the colon allowing really long hold times even with large volumes (3.5 - 5.0 liters). Water for a fast clean out.
Ivory soap with salt is also quite pleasing, harder to hold but nice and slippery with my really long colon tubes.

n/a 6 years ago
I use salted water to prevent total absorption of the water. When I used just plain water, I often felt bloated and retained a lot of the water. Saline is the way to go for me. I once tried a Spirulina enema with just one capsule added to a 4 qt. dose and it was strange. As I sat down to expel, all of the water and fecal matter came out in one large powerful load. Never had an enema like that before.

klip 6 years ago
I use a good warm water flush prior to 2 or 3 coffee enemas. I take them slowly, enjoying every aspect of the enemas. When finished I feel a sense of well-being and relaxation.

taurus395 6 years ago
Plain Water. Coffee Enemas. No soap suds, they only irritate and give cramps. Use instead a spoon full of Bicarbonale and a pinch of salt.

Dave3 6 years ago
I mostly just use plain water and use water/ soap mix occasionally..... rare but use coffee as well

BagToButt 6 years ago
I find 1 tsp per qt of DrB's peppermint to be very smooth inside me. The resulting aroma through my skin afterward is also a nice touch. Next time I'll add a bit more to enhance the effects.

Paulbiuk 6 years ago
I usually just wash out with a shower attachment and once I've taken off the normal shower head and screwed in the bobble shaped attachment I then run the water until warm. The attachment has 5 holes in the bulbous end and this produces a nice set of water jets that I can then train onto my anus and gradually push the end just inside to start the process. I only tend to leave it 5 mins or so before flushing out then repeat. I have never tried any soaps or solutions as an enema. To be honest I wasn't aware of any before I cane across this site two days ago!

Dr. Bronners peppermint soap, followed by a warm water rinse works for me. Afterwards, I know I will be ready for anal play with no worries about being messy

Coffee - In fact I am on my knees on the bathroom floor with my butt in the air taking a retention coffee enema even as I type this on my laptop.

I have come associate the fragrance of ivory soap with all of the erotic experiences of enema-time. I like to vary the strength of the solution which I make up by adding varying amounts of soap shavings to to a large plastic water container full of hot water. Then I shake it up and leave it to cool off to the right temp. The anticipation is delicious.

Frank01 6 years ago
I tend to use very strong Ivory Soap enemas. Some individuals like to spank themselves, I rather like to use punishment enemas instead. The more cramps created, the better that I like them.

I once and awhile try to re enact a really difficult scenario I recall so well when I was young. I do think I got small enemas for constipation 'alot'....but the first big one I really recall was to 'straighten me out' cause I was always a 'smart aleck'...:::: this is what I recall and do now sometimes----
it was a rexall Victoria red bag with like a cup of turpentine/mixed with arm and hammer baking powder to mix in with the water...bars of ivory soap sliced into slivers then inserted into the top of the bag...like two or three bars. the k

Tap water most, cause of radiation burns in my rectum and colon. Sometimes I use Neutrogena, or J&J Baby Wash, cause they are so mild.

soapytim 7 years ago
Most often we use either Dr. Bronners or baby shampoo. The Ivory comes out if we have the time to spend on system cleanouts.

12GAUGE 7 years ago
OK usually go w/plain water or Doc Bronners. Couple of rinses followed by candy cane rinse. If I'm feeling playful I thin some 2% milk and go that route. I like to squirt milk all over in the shower and this is when I fantacise I am with a woman. Saw a great vid of 2 lil hotties in garden tub as they gave each other milk enemas then wood squirt each other and lap up their milky ass juice. That is just TOO HOT for me and I want my own 2 hotties to play with then spend the day fucking our brains out. If I hadn't of given up coffee I'd be up for that no problem. I so want to find a nice lady as frisky as I who is into bdsm and enema play. Yahoooo!

12GAUGE 7 years ago
Well earlier this week I was so horny I felt like a walking Boner. So I gave myself a short series starting out with a soapy Ivory enema. Now I can't hold my bag worth a lick. Never have been able to. Early on making the trip from the shower to the potty was always fraught with "will I make it this time?!?" The potty is right next to the tub. Not 2 feet away. Well I solved this problem with a simple 2.5G bucket. As soon as I feel I'm going to explode I sit on my bucket and explode into it as the hot water falls on me like a waterfall. Earlier I had bought a 10 pack of Ivory thinking I was out. I wasn't out and now I have plenty of Ivory bar soap. (*well maybe MAYBE NOT!!lol) Not in the mood to shave the soap and lolly gag getting the task done I just quickly suds up my hand and gently filled my bag and took the 2nd bag. 15 min later I was taking my peppermint oil rinse which I tried to make it last as long as possible. As I evacuated clear I barely toweled off and nearly ran to my front room where I splayed myself over my easy chair and drove my small red dildo into my depths and began making a boner.
Just got out of the shower. What luxury to spend an hour with no worries of cold hitting me. (And my nat gas bill w/On Demand hot water? Nearly nonexistent.) Had some nice 4play working the nozzle like a cock while I yanked on mmy pecker. Hard to type this. It's Saturday!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could remember what the topic was:blink: Feeling like a real goofball now. Can't hardly keep a thought in my head. Completely forgot my peppermint rinse.:smh:
Yeah well...it happened just like that. When I'm not in such a rush I just squirt a tiny bit of Doctor Bronner's soap in and make 2 qts of that.

Mild soap that does not irritate for long periods after. Salt and Baking Soda for the tummy upsets. Plenty of Soap if you want the feeling of pressure to release.

Frank01 7 years ago
My most often used is ivory or Castile soap. I can truthfully say that I've tried most other common solutions including wine once. I didn't enjoy it then, and will likely not ever try it again. It just wasn't for me. With the exception of the wine, I've never had an enema that I didn't fully enjoy. I truly enjoy enemas that create lots of cramps.

Absolutely baking soda

justdan49 7 years ago
My usual enema is seasalt
I have used Epsom salt, baking soda, coffee, dr bonner's peppermint soap, lemon juice, milk
It all depends on the mode I'm in or the purpose for taking my enema

e fun 7 years ago
For me it is plain water with a little salt added; if I need a really good clean out I start with slightly soapy water and then rinse with salty plain water

Buddy55 7 years ago
For me it's Ivory soap. That's what my mom used on me as a kid. Always worked then, still works now. Just the scent of Ivory soap means an enema.

Sophia 7 years ago
Most of the time I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint Castile, a teaspoon to the quart. However,. There are at least a couple dozen things that I use from time to time. My next favorite is Kirk's Castile for an especially intense enema, and leaving the bar of soap in the bag while taking the enema is the strongest solution I normally use.

Corgigirl 7 years ago
I have been using ivory soap or plain water, occasionally coffee. Tomorrow I think I'm going to give the lemon juice a try. I like a bit of cramping sometimes :-).

gape 7 years ago
I will generally use salt for almost all functional enemas, and I usually add 1tbl J@J baby shampoo per quart, on the first full fill. If I'm playing, there's no telling what will go in there.

BigDaddy61 7 years ago
Mosly. I just use filtered tap water, but i'm learning about other solutions. I just had my first ivory soap enema two days ago. Not sure how much i'm supposed to use. Hopefully i'll be able to gain some insight from this site about my fetish...

DST 10 years ago
Its a tie between baking soda and ivory soap. I received both as a kid so I still use them today.

gay jake 10 years ago
I mostly use salt, especially if I'm going to have a couple of enemas. I I'm away or just going to have one or two smaller enemas I use plain tap water. Tried a couple of different soap solutions but didn't feel good and I couldn't notice any real difference on cleanliness. Have used coffee a couple of times. But I think i prefer to drink that!

Cos 10 years ago
I usually have one soapy enema per set; however as I always have at least 3 enemas per set, plain water is the one i use most often.. wice as often as soap

LeeB 11 years ago
I used plain water on myself. Mom used Ivory soap on me and when I and my enema buddy played with each other, we used soapy water.

n/a 11 years ago
This depends of the time I have to expell an enema:
- In the case that I have a lot of time for an enema I shall use tap water.
- In the case that I have to hurry I shall take a soapy enema, most in dissolving ivory soap.

miker 11 years ago
My favorite enema is 1 teaspoon of salt per quart of water. Sometimes, though I mix the salt with baking soda as well. If I want a good cleanout, I use Epsom Salt instead of salt and if I want to recall some of my early recollections of my early days I will take an ivory soap enema just to remember Mom.

n/a 11 years ago
I like Dr. Bonners Peppermint Castile soap for the first enema. It produces really good cramps and a good cleanout. I always rinse with at least two plain water enemas and sometimes more.
I have tried Ivory but I can't tell the difference between it and plain water. For me, it does not produce cramps.

janet s 11 years ago
I almost always use Ivory soap for my enemas although from time to time I have used Dr. Bonners.

M13608 11 years ago
I like to use salt and baking soda in my bag. Mix the two together and put 2 heaping teaspoons in each bag.

healthymale6446 11 years ago
I tend to be split between a Lavandar Castile soap with salt in warm water, and a cool Epsom salts enema. Both enjoyable....so it's whatever I decide at the moment.

tjaj 11 years ago
I prefer using Ivory soapsuds for the first enema followed by warm salt water rinse enemas. Would like to try castile soap sometime.

LisaK 11 years ago
Essentially, if I don't need soapsuds, I don't need an enema. Epsom Salts and soapsuds together in the same enema are only for when I do a system cleanout, or when I'm actually constipated.

Charlie 11 years ago
Two quarts of plain water works best for me. It is painless and simple and has no unwanted side effects. Once in a while if I want some extra cleaning, Dr. Bronner's liquid castile peppermint soap is my favorite. It helps with the odor problem also.

Greycarl 11 years ago
Plain water or sometimes a mix of linseed oil and warm water.

bottomsup2000 11 years ago
A lot depends on the mood or need for an enema. Ivory soap is still my favorite, mostly because it brings back memories of childhood enemas. Just the smell of Ivory soap stirs emotions. But Dr. Bronners liquid castile soaps are very nice and very mild and gentle. I recommend the peppermint highly for a little extra "ZING". Baking soda and salt mixture is also good. It produces a good cleanout if you are pretty constipated. It is also very soothing. And of course just good old plain water for rinses and when you don't want anything harsh up your butt.

knivesreturns 11 years ago
Dr. Bronners is awesome, followed by ivory. Then a few water rinses.

nrear 11 years ago
IN the hospital after full volume enemas I always felt that it was a very nice clean out. Not sure of the solution but about a litre to a litre and a half it felt really good

sse4me 11 years ago
Here's another vote for baby shampoo. It's gentle, unless of course you use too much, yet quite effective.

Dave44123 11 years ago
My soap of choice is Johnson's Baby Shampoo. Nice and smooth and easy to mix up. Second favorite would be Ivory.

clau271 11 years ago
classic chamomille and olive oil .. no soap for me, thansk !

n/a 11 years ago
I usually use Ivory Bar soap. I take 2 hand sized bars and grate them. Then I take the flakes and put them into a 2 qt jar and add boiling water. Once dissolved the result is a very heavy liquid soap. I love to use one full measuring cup of the liquid into 4 quarts of water. V/ery strong and a crampy enema.

Dr Strangelove 11 years ago
I like ivory a tablespoon per quart in four quarts of 115 degree water. Then follow that with a good rinse or two. It takes me back !

cjones 11 years ago
Just lots of hot water.

carl2011 11 years ago
My favorite is Dr. Bronner's All One peppermint castile soap. all one! all one! all one! a little bonus info, there is a very interesting documentary about Dr. Bronner's soap on netflix! check it out. I gained a ton of respect for the product. ;D

jmont24 11 years ago
I Like Ivory and Dr. Bronners for starter enemas then settle in for Salt and Soda enemas and mabey Plain water rinse enemas. But in the Grand Scheme of things ive probally taken more Ivory Enemas than any other.

gboy 11 years ago
Ivory soap like Mom usually used on me as a kid.

one-eyes 12 years ago
Most often castile soap in warm water. Sometimes a quick-dissolving brand of pure soap flakes sold as a laundry product. When I started taking enemas as a teenager I used to grate up hard laundry soap because that was what it said to do in the recipe I found. Today it just seems like a lot of unnecessary work! I occasionally experiment with other things: glycerin, epsom salts, crushed bisacodyl tablets, milk and treacle (substitute for molasses, which you can’t get here) can all work well but require preparation, while castile soap is so quick and easy I mostly just go for that.

Orbital242 12 years ago
I usually use plain water, occasionally add soap. Ironically, coffee is probably my favorite solution. I can't stand the taste or smell of it, so this gives me a great way to enjoy its benefits without having to taste it.

dickdirt 12 years ago
castile soap and then a good rinse

miker 12 years ago
For me, I like to use salt, baking soda, and of course epsom salts. The water has to be warm.

James3333 12 years ago
Usually a healthy squirt of peppermint castile and 3 qts of warm almost hot water to start with followed by a plain or sometimes saltwater cool almost cold rinse does me just fine

cgrandvert 12 years ago
Mostly I add some salt and some mint oil.
From time to time also glycerin or liquid soap.
But salt is always there.

n/a 12 years ago
For the most part, I tend to use just plain water. But there are times when I just want those lovely cramps, I will turn to using lemon juice or some other lovely solution and the fun begins...

kathy1949 12 years ago
1 tablespoon per qt of castile soap does a nice job.

sam42 12 years ago
I have tried most of the others except milk and molasses. Sometimes I use Dr B's peppermint soap, but keep going back to Ivory. Something about the odor reminds me of years gone by. Also, I think it helps as a surfactant to remove colon contents. The smell of Ivory says enema to me.

Sweet Julie 12 years ago
I've tried plain water, but I think I like ivory soap the best because it gives a far better cleaning out.

mike45 12 years ago
I like to experiment with different solutions, have tried well over 30. But I usually use castile soap followed by a baking soda rinse. Then 1qt of coffee or green tea retained for an hour.

denis 12 years ago
if im going to do multiples ill put some baking soda in to stop or slow down absorption of water into my body.

Emom 12 years ago
Like most of us you have probably used many on this list, but there is one that you keep going back to time and again.
