I marked the first choice 'Food' but will go back afterward to try to add the other things. Am now sensitive to dairy including cheese, ice cream, coffee creamer, all things I used to enjoy when I was younger. Also allergic to sulfa & bactrim. Testing by allergy doctor several years ago indicated I was sensitive to cat dander (I had had a houseful - three or more from 1979 on) & to many pollens where I now live (PA). We were without cats after the last rescue died in 2015 around Labor Day 2019, we accepted a senior cat who had belonged to a dear friends' parents. This feline had her own health issues (rhino virus; hyper thyroidism; & allergies). We are both delighted to have her company & she returns the attention. By the way, I haven't been back to that allergy doc in 14 years or more!

Yee! don't get me started. Numero uno nasty is cats--they've sent me to the ER four times. I often can't be in a cat's presence without respiratory protection. Horses are nasty, too--I won't ride one ever again. Other animals, not quite so bad. Then there's pollen, leaf mold, ragweed, and it's awful when they gang up on me. Then we go into the foods--wheat is mean to me, but really all grains I need to avoid. Finally, I have to be careful around some chemicals--car exhaust in particular is nasty to me. Life's pretty tolerable, but there's times I think I should be in an air conditioned space suit.

Oh goodness...
My list is rather extensive.
I'm allergic to pineapple, fish, mint and dairy. I'm also allergic to bandaids and propofol. I'm allergic to most soaps and laundry detergents. Finally, I'm highly, highly allergic to ant bites of any kind. I notices LadyDoc mentioned her allergy to fire ants, mine extends past that. It's all ants that I'm allergic to. I will go into anaphylactic shock.

Should have made it a multiple choice poll. I am allergic to hay (hay fever, don't get it as bad as what I used to now though) and wasp stings (not nice).

My allergies r hayfever, goldenrod, fresh mowed grass, and the radioactive dyes used in CAT scans. The 1s that bother my breathing the most r the grass clippings and the CAT scan dyes. Its actually odd because once the grass settles it doesnt bother me as bad. I also have an intolerance to eggs yet I can eat eggs when they r baked into things. Also I cant have the flu shot due to my egg intolerance.

I am also one of those that needs to check more than one box. I am sensitive to antibiotics like Augmentin, Septra and Bactrim. I am highly allergic to fire ants, which are part of Southern culture. I am also reactive to horses, dogs, and grasses/pollens. Pretty bizarre for someone who works with horses and dogs! With the exception of the medications and the fire ants, my sensitivities are manageable.
Play On!

I have had the allergy skin tests done and discovered that I am allergic to several things, mainly cat dander and dust mites. If I avoid those two triggers and keep up with my daily asthma inhalers, I am fine. If not, I can get into breathing problems.

Strawberries. My 8th grade biology class was when I figured it out. For the lab that we were doing (something about DNA) we had to crush up strawberries. Always willing to get dirty in the name of science I volunteered to do the crushing...bad idea. Fifteen minutes later my hands and arms were swelling up and a friend made me go to the nurse. Fun day...now my friends refer to these allergic reactions as "Strawberry Attacks". Oh the good times.

I needed to tick multiple boxes too.
I'm allergic to Latex, which means I have to avoid Kiwi Fruit, Bananas, and Avocado as people with Latex allergy can react badly to them. I'm also allergic to cats (though not as badly as I used to be), Wasps and have even had allergic reactions after handling batches of recently photocopied documents (toner perhaps?). And then there's hayfever...

ive suffered from allergic rhinitis since i was 7. my attacks are triggered by: dust, pollen, smoke, heavy smells like strong perfumes, air freshener, extremes in temperatures: too hot, too cold weather, stuff like that. i take loratidine for my allergies, usually works. used to take benadryl but it makes you sleep and can give you palpitations so, i switched.

I'm allergic to dust and dog hair mostly.
But on paper I'm also allergic to a whole bunch of stuff such as roaches' droppings, some types of grass (the green one that you sit on :-), eggs and other stuff.
I don't think I am allergic to bees, as I've been stung twice and lived to tell about it.
