Discipline while growing up

I was also at times spanked by my younger sister. I had to strip naked while she watched, then lay down on my bed. She would sit on the side and spank me with her bare hand. She was not that strong and could not hit me really hard. But, she would do it for about 30 minutes and it did make me sore after a while.

No, I never spanked her. However, if I took the spanking from her without complaining, she would take her clothes off for me so I could see her naked, but would not allow any sex with her. It was my reward for letting her spank me.

Most of the time it would be by my father. If I was not really bad, but just a little bad, it would be with his bare hand on my bare butt. If I was really very bad, it was sometimes with a very thick belt on my bare butt. I would have to lay down on my bed. He would gag me and then use his belt on me. It would be anywhere from five lashes to as many as 50 lashes, depending on why I was being whipped. He would stop for about 3 minutes after each 10 lashes when it was that many.

One time he gave me 50 lashes and then let me lay on my bed for about 2 hours. He then gave me 25 more. I could not sit for 3 days after that. That was when I was 12 years old. I am now 73 years old. There is still a very faint mark on my butt from that whipping. It is hard to see, but if I do point it out to you, you will be able to see it.

I have been spanked with hands, wooden paddles, wooden spoons (some broken on my butt), belts, one time back of hand (woke up at end of hallway).

Both parents administered the discipline growing up. My mother used a paddle and my father used a razor strap or his belt on me.

I hardly got punished up i have lived with my aunt from aged 5 i know i git the odd spanking but it was few and far between

Hmm well for me is both my dad and mom. Mmmm cant really remember what punishment i got from them. :P

Well displine to me when i was growing up was either a soft slap to a face (softer than a punch but harder than a pat) or getting locked inside my room when i wanted to be with my mother so i don't think i can really say anything about this poll maby thats why i love the idea of being made to do things unwillingly these days :)

Having the wet sheets is really bad enough! I had a short stint as a bed wetter myself, never punished for it. But I know it's no fun to have to wake up in the wet, then have to wake my mother to help get everything replaced and dry. Sometimes I wish I had been put back in diapers, I think it would have been allot easier for me and the rest of the family. I think my mother thought, I wouldn't have stopped then though. ???

Mom decided that she needed somthing to get through the heavy jeans I had on so the the weapon of choice was the wire handled fly swatter.

My father was the one who gave the butt whoopins, and his three strap leather belt landed with a mighty sting. Although he was the one to apply the whoopins, it was my mother that made the decision that you needed one. It was always "wait until your father gets home". If my father did decide to give you a whoopin himself, you could pretty much bank on it that it would be more harsh than the ones he was directed to give by my mother.

Both of my parents were very strict. But because of that I have a boat load of common sense. This could be another whole topic, but I do believe that discipline in the form of spankings growing up made me think twice about the repercussions of my actions as I grew up. I have two children that I have never laid a hand on because the threat by our government and social services that spankings are child abuse and they just seem to lack that common sense. They do not think about what the end results of their actions may be.

When I was 11, I went to live with my Aunt, and she is the one who diciplined me.

since i have no parents and my 2 older sisters are legal guardians of me and my other sisters they do all the punishments and stuff.

Most of the verbal emotional physical abuse cme from my father but when it came to getting caught wear my baby brothers' plastic pants it was my mother. sometimes she would find the plastic panties whereever I had hidden them be it under my pilow or bed or in one of my bureau drawers she would wave them in my face yelling about how stinky of pee they smelled or how bad the caca stains were. i loved having smell of pee and having caca stains on the white/yelow ones. but she'd either riiiippppp them fom the leg bands in front of all the while with an evil grin or she would make put them on and tell me how ridiculous i looked then pull me over her knee and really spank me in them and riiiippppp them off and i cried miserably and hated her for that. we have never been close since

It was definately Mom who was the disciplanarian, but it was Dad I was more afraid of.

My mom did all the punishing, because her and my dad are divorced, and she liked to use a leather belt.

Well so far, it's pretty much predicable. With the moms weighing in over dads as the one to punish the most. Funny, I was thinking of a story of my Uncle who would sass the neighbor for whatever, and he would get hit from her, then from my Grandmother at home, them from my Grandfather when he got home, lol. It seemed like all for one there! LOL. Well, keep those votes and stories coming in.

I remember one time, I have no idea what for now, but I did something, probably fighting with my sister???? I was up for a few swats with, of course the wooden spoon. I was close to the back door so, out I ran, with my mother in hot pursuit. I flew down the porch steps, and through the yard. I had all intentions of running out of the back yard, when I heard my mother yelling, but differently than the rant aimed at me. I also heard my sister laughing, when I turned to see, my mother had tripped on, her flip flops and fell down the stairs. The yelling was much profanity, F, F , F. :o My sister thought it was funny as sh.t. When my mother stopped rolling down the stairs, she got herself up, grabbed my laughing sister, and this is the good part ;D for me anyway, started swatting her with one of the flip flops. Leaving my sister crying, ha ha! She turned toward me, I started off again, my mother still reeling from her stair fall quickly gave up on the chase. She said, you have to come back some time, you *@!**@ I stayed away all day. I think it worked out, I got a beating when I came back, but she had calmed way down and it wasn't so bad. My sister was pissed at that of course, she got twice the beating I got. But I couldn't help if she stayed around for it ;D :D :D :D

::) My mom did the spanking. She never really spanked much unless it was a real bad thing we had done. Usually she would just give us the look then 1 swat would be it. She wore flip-flops all summer and she could take one off and have on your butt or bare leg faster than you could move. :o Flip-flops sting like heck when you get swatted with them trust me I know. ;D

My dad did, and being that he was a barber I got the razor strap. I don't doubt that I needed it and that I'm better off now because of it.

it was me ma that did the discipline she usually didn't use physical discipline she didnt need to she could give you that cold stair and make you crumble with a word *shudders* so who needs to spank when they can make you wish you never knew the mean of wrong doing

Definetly my mom she was fond of the hairbrush and the wooden spoon both quite effective in getting the message across. And trying to run was not a good idea. after a spanking it was off to the corner to "think about what I had done"

Well that's why, my mom is Italian! I think that must be an Italian thing, wooden spoons. :D It has to do with cooking, Italians like to cook and wooden spoons are the thing of choice for cooking and beatings! My mom broke a fair share over the years, when it broke then it was hand combat! No shoes though.

well me and you must of had the same mom becasue i remeber more then one wooden spoon over my head LOL. and some shoes and hands and whatever else was within reach of her. but dad did the belt thing when it was a big screw up for me . not to amny of them but more then a few times ouch!!!!! but yep mom was the italian physco in our house LOL

I'm wondering who it was you had to look out for when growing up? Who would give the swats if you did something wrong? Please choose the one who would have spanked you the most or the worst. And this is not a question for you as an adult, when growing up please! For me, it was mom. And her weapon of choice, wooden spoon. I can still see the fire in her eyes as I would run around the dining room table, trying to get away ;D I was more afraid of my dad, but I only remember him hitting me once ??? He just seem to mean it more when he said STOP!
