I did have a course in college called "Marriage and the Family" that addressed douching briefly. The students called the couse, "Sex 101" as it addressed the different sex acts, positions, frequency etc. The neat thing regarding the class other than the subject was it counted as Sociology, Psychology or Home Economics credit so if you needed a credit in say Sociology the course counted as that same as with the other disciplines. Now F/M oral sex was addresses as felatio so you had to learn the names for the different acts, which you may or may not have known. The subject of douching was addressed and the female professor advocated it. Sorry feminists. Here is the point she made. She stated that the vagina does cleanse itself but it doesn't as quickly as frequently as newly weds have sex. It made sense to me. One of the funniest things that happened in the class was a girls asked if you could catch a venereal disease in a public restroom. The professor stated with a straight face. "Of course, but who wants to have sex in a public restroom?" I know that's an old joke but it was the 70's and the first time I heard it. FYI, the professor also advocated never turning your husband down. She said girls if you got a headache tell him but there is more than one way to satisfy a male so take matters in hand or whatever. Needless to say, that got applause from the males.
