I have been a full time crossdresser (CD) almost ten years; I had voice training, laser facial hair removal, feminine hair style. Here in San Francisco there's much support for MTF. I pass well enough that over 90% of people meeting me for last seven year do not realize I'm not really a woman.
transexuals. However I'm CD not trans.
So today I had a real physical exam. I wanted life insurance, with $1M insurance. They sent me to a nurse practitioner; I told staff up front I was a trans (somehow trans is more acceptable these days than CD). No problem. Aide took height, weight, BP, temp. After meeting the NP she had me undress completely, don a gown. Naked besides enlarged nipples I'm male from neck down. She looked in ears, peered into nose, mouth, teeth, all in 2 minutes. Lowered the gown to waist; listened to neck, heart, lungs. I lay down, she pressed on my abdomen briefly. She had me stand, checked for hernia, but no palpation of penis or testes. I turned around and bent over for a prostate exam and stool blood sample.
If I'd asked to be put in stirrups, and have a rectal exam with a speculum she'd have thought I was a pervert.
