Fontana yes, I made that mistake of going to pediatricians office at age 18 just because I remembered going there a few years before.
A guy came out while I was in waiting room with motorcycle helmet in hand, looking about my age, and he said, "Man this place is weird, and I am never coming back here again".
I asked him why, did they hurt him or something, he just said, "No, nevermind, you'll see".
And sure enough got harpooned in the ass with the cold glass thermometer again! Now I knew what he was talking about, she must have nailed him too. I was clearly old enough not, too hairy, muscular etc, but nurse insisted because it was pediatric practice and it is protocol there. I was tested for std etc,. This nurse held my cheeks open while she twirled it in and out, then planted her hand firmly on my right bun and told me to relax and not tighten up. Massaged my bun pulling it apart to readjust the thermometer often. Boy was I glad that was over.
And the same as Fontana said, there was no privacy, door partly open, people coming in and out of the room and passing thru the hall with clear view.
