It wasn't so much a requirement before making love (I would say fucking that evening is more accurate) but he came to my dorm expecting to stay over and I told him he could not stay over (because he arrived three hours late for our dinner date that never materialized) unless I gave him an enema. That's a good point for wearing/not wearing heels, which I've heard of from others as well. I've/we've never had any problem with tearing sheets with extra vigorous sneaker passion, even with both of us in sneakers, sometimes thick high tops.
