What to mix with coconut oil to make lube?

A lot of people have discussed the pros and cons of using coconut oil as lube for anal play. One thing that is inconvenient is that it is pretty solid at room temperature. I read somewhere about someone who heats it slightly, until it is liquid, then mixes in vitamin e oil so that it will remain liquid, then keeps the mixture in a bottle. I have seen a lot of vitamin e oil that says "not for internal use." I was thinking maybe some sweet almond oil could work, but that also says "not for internal use." Is there anything else, some kind of liquid/oil that does not say "not for internal use" that I can add to melted coconut oil to keep it liquid?

How about crankshaft oil....though that might get a rise from some...or even extra virgin olive, butt i'll be serious

What I would recommend is that with such a list above it would be advisable to check thoroughly & be well aware that some of these oils may react with certain types of individuals...Aromatherapy in some quarters still raises concerns & there are detractors so it would not be prurient to say with a 100% certainty they are the ideal

I have also heard that olive oil is not nutritious either, and to use coconut oil instead. As for palm oil, that's another can of worms altogether because the production of it is terrible for the environment and wiping out rain forests (see http://www.saynotopalmoil.com/Whats_the_issue.php ). As you can see I am at a loss. It seems like if an oil is not coconut oil, either it is "not for internal use" or there is something else wrong with it. I might have to just stick to using water-based lube, but I wish it had less ingredients.

It melts quickly with body warmth. I like it just the way it comes from the jar.

Don't bother using it especially if you are going to try mixing it with something else to make it better. Why start with something that comes out of the jar hard and lumpy, DOESN'T flow smoothly onto the skin right out of the container and then gets runny? Cold cream is better, vaseline is better, cocoa butter is better, the silicones are better, the oil based jerk-off lubes are better, crisco is better, the special anal lubes are better. The list goes on and on. . . . Why use coconut oil at all??? You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Coconut oil is a recent fad that should never have happened.

There are so many really good oily lubricants (if that's what you want) on the market that it is a waste of your time and money playing around with coconut oil.

ANY vegetable oil you can cook with you could use as an anal lube.

It's just like water for enemas. If you can drink it, you can use it for your enema. It's the same for oil lubes. If you can cook with it or put it on a salad, etc, you can use it as a lube.

I have read the similar comments you made on coconut oil in other threads and I expected to hear this from you. I posted this question to see if anyone knew of a good ingredient that can be mixed with solid coconut oil to keep it liquid, that's all.

I don't know what brand of coconut oil you tried. The first kind I tried was hard and lumpy as you say, but I have found a couple of different kinds that are quite smooth and soft. I don't use it as lube, just as a moisturizer. Anyway, I think coconut oil is healthier to be putting in the body than any of the other things you mentioned. I disagree with your statement that it's a fad that never should have happened. If you research it, you will find that it has a a lot of highly desirable health benefits for anyone who uses it on their skin and/or eats it on a regular basis.

I am sure that the commercial products you recommend make a better lube, as you say, and I will continue to use them. But those commercial products have chemicals. I would still rather find a way to make lube from coconut oil, if possible.

There is hardly a product on the market that doesn't have info for and against it and every other month, the list changes. I have used organic coconut oil. It sucks.

If it isn't hard and lumpy or grainy coming out of the jar when it is less than 74 degrees F (its melting point), it isn't pure coconut oil. PURE coconut oil is PURE coconut oil.

I still say, use something else. There are plenty of vegetable oils to choose from. I like to cook with avocado oil--the highest smoke point and essentially NO flavor of its own.

I saw a liquid coconut oil at the store. I wasn't real interested in it, myself, because I wondered what they did to it to keep it liquid. The ingredient label didn't say anything besides coconut oil. Uh, real coconut oil is solid at certain temps. This isn't.

Why would you mix it with anything? All you need is the warmth of your body heat to turn it liquid and wonderful. I use it for masturbation all the time.

My USDA organic coconut oil has no preservatives, and even after a year in my pantry it is still fine. I think one of the few good things about coconut oil is that it DOESN'T go rancid.

If you want to thin out the crisco, you can add a SMALL amount of your favorite vegetable oil to it and the crisco will come out smooth and creamy.

About 25 years ago, I started what I thought was a great new hobby: making candles. Among the many supplies I ordered, I got a gallon of coconut oil. Didn't think anything of it at the time, figuring I was going to have so much fun making candles.

Like so many hobby projects, the candle-making one didn't last long. While I got rid of the other supplies, I kept the coconut oil, primarily because I discovered it was a great natural lube. Yes, it's lumpy and hard, but gently rub it on your hand or body and your body temperature quickly softens it, liquifying it actually. I like the smell and there's something sensuous when you rub the hardened coconut oil on your lover's body and feel it melt from their body heat. I don't mix it with anything. I also think it's a great lube for anal, but that's my personal view.

Because it's hard to start, nothing is poured, so there's no worry about spilling, which can happen when foreplay and excitement can lead to little accidents like that, if you know what I mean...

I've still got that gallon of oil in my basement (though it's getting low now...). No complaints, no regrets and would recommend it to anyone!

Well it is true! Like Ethel says regarding the Franks Red hot, or whatever it is, "I put that shit on everything" Well that's pretty much the case with the Crisco. That stuff is good for so many things. Everything I said about it is true. Even for the dry skin and keeping the kids out of the bedroom. My only questions is that why do people seem to need to make things more difficult than they need to be? Like Susie said. if you can drink it or eat it then you can use it in the "E" bag or lube the nozzle with it. With that in mind then it stands to reason that 3 in 1 oil and WD 40 are NOT MEANT TO LUBE SEX TOYS OR ENEMA NOZZLES OR EVEN YOUR JUNK! A little common sense goes a long way!

I don't use it for sexual purposes. Cooking and hand/body "lotion" (I rub it onto my hands. feet, and such. I also put it on my hair once a week or so. Makes it feel so soft.) are the main uses for it in my house.

Put it in a container in microwave heat it up until it melts. Pour into squirt bottle and enjoy . Makes a great lube .It will be warm and feel really good. It melts at about 83 degrees ,so what ever body part you put it on or in ,it will stay a liquid. Used for anal lube many times. Feels great to shoot it up your ass .

Right, until 5 or 10 minutes later when you can't squirt it out of the bottle because it's solid again. That's why I asked if there might be something safe for internal use (i.e., edible) to mix it with to keep it liquified.

or you could just use albolene which is a mixture of mineral oil and petrolatum, so it is like a thinned down vaseline.

I looked that up and did not get any google results for it. What you spelled is similar to a few drug creams but none that sound like a lubricant.
