Ante-towards front of body.

Retro- towards back of body.

Version. cervical axis of uterus. pulled/pointed.

Flexion- Uterine fundus. pulled/folded.

The position of uterus may tilt from its original position depending on the above parameters.

ANTEVERSION - the position of uterus and cervical axis oriented towards pubic bone.

ANTEFLEXION- uterus oriented towards pubic bone with anterior portion of the uterus concave.

RETROVERSION- uterus and cervical axis oriented towsrds sacrum.

RETROFLEXION- uterus oriented towards sacrum with anterior portion of the uterus convex.
